The Consul-General of Vishwamitra in Snagov (Hindi: स्नागोव में विश्वामित्र के महावाणिज्य दूत, Romanian: Consulatul General al Vishwamitrei în Snagov) is an officer of the Vishwamitran Ministry of External Affairs and the head of the consulate-general in Snagov. The consul-general represents Vishwamitra in the Eastern European region of Snagov. The Consulate-General has its office in Snagov. The job has the rank and status of a Consul-General and is currently Ștefan Marius Snagoveanu who has been holding the position since the establishment of the mission on 2 April 2021. The official title of the head of the diplomatic mission is His Illustrious and Royal Vishwamitran Majesty's Consul-General in Snagov. The current consul-general is also concurrently accredited as the non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the consul-general include being the principal representative of the Rashtradhyaksh and the Government of Vishwamitra to the people of Snagov and also to present Vishwamitran policies to the residents in the communes of Snagov and to the government, and to report the policies and views to the crown and the government, and also to inform all Vishwamitran citizens regarding all major events and news from region. The consul-general in Snagov reports to the Vishwamitran Embassy in Bucharest, which reports to the Ministry of External Affairs, a process in line with the majority of Vishwamitra's consulates around the world.
