The Consul-General of Vishwamitra in Maine (Hindi: वर्जिनिया में विश्वामित्र के महावाणिज्य दूत) was an officer of the Vishwamitran Ministry of External Affairs and the head of the consulate-general in Maine. The consul-general represented Vishwamitra in the state of Maine. The Consulate-General had its office in Machias. The job had the rank and status of a Consul-General and was held by Otto Gillespie Birch, 1st Baron Birch of Machias who served as the first and only consul-general in Maine. The official title of the head of the diplomatic mission was His Illustrious and Royal Vishwamitran Majesty's Consul-General in Maine. The consulate-general in Alabama was opened on 18 January 2021 for the first time but was closed a month later on 25 February 2021. The mission was re-opened on 14 May 2021 but was again closed, two months later on 24 July 2021.

The main responsibilities of the consul-general included being the principal representative of the Rashtradhyaksh and the Government of Vishwamitra to the state of Maine and also to present Vishwamitran policies to the American-citizens resident in the state and to the government, and to report the policies and views to the crown and the government, and also to inform all Vishwamitran citizens regarding all major events and news from the state. The consul-general in Machias, Maine reported to the Vishwamitran Embassy in Youngstown, Ohio, which reported to the Ministry of External Affairs, a process in line with the majority of Vishwamitra's consulates around the world.
