The Linquendan Social Democratic Party is a social-democratic political party in Linquenda. It is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Linquenda along with the Free Democrats.

Established 2 hours after the declaration of Linquendan independence , the LSDP is by far the oldest existing political party represented in the Stadssenaat The party won 10 seats in the 2020 Linquendan general election and formed a coaliton with the PSC During the First session, 2 senators broke away and formed the Communist Party of Linquenda (LCP). The LSPD is the largest party in Linquenda.

History

When Linquenda was formed the Party kept its name from the Veneppian Socialist Party to the Linquendan Social Democratic Party In the 2020 Linquendan general election the LSDP won 10 seats and formed a coalition with the PSC the LSDP sufferered a catastrophic split which a4 of the 10 members left the LSDP caucus 2 foriming the Communist Party of Linquenda and 2 suspended by the party
