Law enforcement in Sototen is performed by the sototen police force and a few other specialist agencies. before reforms in mid to late 2020 law enforcement was carried out by two agencies. The police force is responsible to the national government. Police are mostly unarmed with just handcuffs although a Nerf gun is available in the police station just in case it is needed. Handcuffs have only been used a handfull of times, most times the police act more as parking, environmental and border enforcement than for serious or arrestable crimes
