The Democratic Republic of Lavarič (Esperanto: Demokratia Respubliko Lavaric) is a self-declared sovereign state, or micronation, which has not received recognition from any major geopolitical organization. Lavarač seceded from Mexico on 2 of November of 2015. Originally called the independent mexico. A delegation of Lavarač attend the MicroCon 2022.

Etymology

The name “Lavarač” comes from the pact of lagač, that says that independent mexico (old name) was indipendent.

Government

Lavarač is a presidential republic, which operates under a multi-party system. Similar to some macronations, including the United States of America, Lavarač government is run in three branches. Each of these branches oversee a separate part of the Lavaračian Government, ensuring the separation of powers.

Executive

The executive branch consists of the President, Secretaries and the cabinet. The cabinet is made-up of Secretaries, each person run a specific section of the Lavarač executive branch. The President is the Chair of Cabinet, and a Secretary, an elected position, represents the legislative branch in the cabinet. The incumbent President is Rodolfo Farič and the incumbent First Secretary is Leo del Rio.

Legislative

The Legislative Branch of the Lavarčian Government consists of the People's National Congress, which is elected by the people of Lavarač every six months.

Judicial

Unlike many other countries, the Judicial Branch of Lavarač is elected. Every nine months, an election is held for members of the Judicial Assembly, with one elected from each of three geographic subdivisions. These members serve as a body similar to a Jury. As well as this, a Chairperson of the Judicial Assembly is elected annually. The current chair is Marian Farič.

Territory

Lavarač is located in Sonora,Mexico. Its location is known only to the President, his family, and the highest ranking members of the Lavaračian Government. Lavarač extended territories include Yedrossia (Sonora, Mexico) and the Ordeales region (Sonora, Mexico). Lavarač subdivisions are states and ARs.

Culture

Lavarač Culture is largely based on North American society. Though, Lavarač culture is far less consumerist and far more ecological.

Sports

Lavarač national sports are football and ice Hockey. Basquetball its also very popular. Sporting is not a very popular pastime in Lavarač, as most citizens prefer to read a good book instead.

Cuisine

Lavarač cuisine is a blend of mexican and European/North American foods. The national dish is Burro Percheron, and the national drink is water. Sushi also a very popular food.

Language

The official languages of Lavarač are spanish and bosnian. Spanish is the most commonly spoken language, while bosnian is still popular. While in Yedrossia they speak Yedram.

Religion

Lavarač is a very secular nation. While many Lavaračians are personally religious, religion is never a factor in government or politics. The most common religion is Christianity, specifically the Church of Lavarač.
