Latine Confederatio (English: Latin Confederation) is an intermicronational confederation aiming to provide help and standardize a group of micronations under the same flag and laws, keeping their micronational integrities.

History

The Latine Confederatio was founded the 12 June 2020 between the Principality of Ledilia and the Principality of Centumcellae in order to form an intermicronational confederation. The idea was inspired by St. Charlie and the formation of this alliance was an idea of the Centumcellae's prime minister.

Structure

Representative Bodies

The representative bodies of the confederation are in-charge of representing the confederation intermicronationally in order to exchange foreign relations and dialogues.

President of the Confederation

President of the Confederatio is elected by the Council of the Confederation and has no real power. In poor wordshis role has a "representative" way. The president is in charge of representing the confederation and be an ambassador for it. For example like the monarchs of today.

Legislative Bodies

Confederal Parliament

The Parliament of the Confederation is a body elected by the people in pan-confederational elections. They have the legislative power and are divided in committees such as the Committee for foreign affairs.

Executive Bodies

Council

The council of the confederation is the executive branch/government of the confederation. The members are the heads of states of each member state or a delegate appointed by the head of state.

Juridical Bodies

Supreme Court

The supreme court has the judiciary power. The supreme court is a court for high crimes such as treason or for intermicronational crimes inside of the confederation. The members of the supreme court are appointed by each member state, they have to swear allegiance and loyalty to the confederation. They shall not be partial if their state is in court.

As aconfederation, in order to obtain the membership, the state must issue their applicationform which will be reviewed by the Council in order to see if the country is fit-to-join or not. The application can be found at LTC/Applications.
