The Kolechian National State, commonly is known as Kolechia, is a self-declared sovereign state, commonly known as a micronation to external observers. It is primarily located in Michigan. Kolechia is composed of four inhabited states and eight territories. Kolechia has many cities outside of the Michigan region. Khanate of Kole declared independence from the United States on January 1, 2020, however, changed to its present name just one month later.
Kolechia is a semi-presidential republic, with its Marshal being acting President. Currently, the control of the presidency is Kole Boxman, who ascended to his position on 28 May 2021. Officially, the legislature of Kolechia is unicameral, with a Federal Assembly led by William Smeth, who was inaugurated as the fifth Vice Marshal of Kolechia on 31 August 2021. Despite this, the Regional Council holds considerable power over the nation and acts as an upper house, resulting in some people claim that the nation's legislature is actually bicameral.
Etymology
The name Kolechian was chosen by Kole. The name is derived from the Belgian. It is also named after the Khanate before Kolechia and our Marshal. It is also a resource that has roots in "Coal.", which we plan to open a mine for in 2022.
Government and Politics
President
The President is the Marshal of Kolechia. The current President Kole Bosman styled Marshal Kole I. Following the dissolution of the Khanate in February 2020, Daniel ascended to the presidency as its founder on 28 May 2020. Since then, he has served as a President, bringing several changes to the nation.
