Simharashtra (Sanskrit: siṁharāṣṭra), officially, the Kingdom of Simharashtra, is a country located in the United States of America, commonly referred as a micronation by outsiders. It is an absolute monarchy where the Sovereign is the head of state and government as he is the Prime Minister. The Kingdom of Simharashtra is known by its short-form name, Simharashtra. It is an autonomous sovereign entity, commonly known as a micronation. Located in the United States of America, in the North American Continent. Simharashtra is an Absolute monarchy with a unicameral parliament, headed by King Vikramaditya I. The nation is comprised of twenty Provinces headed by a duke who also is the Chief Executive of those respective provinces as Governor and one National Capital Territory (NCT).
It is entirely bordered by the U.S. on all sides of the nation. Each Province has twelve Members of Parliament that Represent the whole Province who are directly appointed by the Crown. Many similarities and history are shared with the United States, India, and the UK. The Tamil language is one of the four official languages with the others being Sanskrit, Telugu, and British English. Other languages are also encouraged. The nation is a developing country with almost no economic resources as it does not collect taxes and does not export any goods. However, His Majesty's Government with help of the His Majesty's Treasury and postal service draft plans to start the economy by first step valorizing the currency. The Kingdom ranks high on the Human Development Index, offering social security and a Universal Healthcare system. The Kingdom is the Founding member of the International Federation of Micronations (IFM).
Simharashtra declared independence on Christmas Day 2022. The Crown Prince, Vikramaditya I, who currently is holding the title Prince Regent, since he is heading the Provisional Regency Government, meaning the provisional government is in charge until a permanent government is formed and the Crown Prince being crowned King. He formed the State Regency Council and convened it so there's regular functioning and continuation of government on April 30, 2022. The SRC government is in acting protocol, with the prince Regent as Chancellor. When the Prince Regent/Crown Prince is crowned he shall form a permanent government and commence proper governing and civil service protocols.
Etymology
The name Simharashtra is derived from the Sanskrit words (सिंहः/) and (राष्ट्र/) which are Simha and Rashtra. Simha means lion in Sanskrit. Rashtra means nation. So the name means the Land or Country of Lions.
History

The Great Thinking Era was a period of uncertainty when the founder of the Kingdom, the then Captain Sir Vikramaditya Rajasimhan, now, Crown Prince & Regent, was in great dilemma whether to choose a constitutional monarchy where the Monarch is just head of state and a figurehead with only ceremonial powers in which the Monarch is the "Puppet of Parliament" or an Absolute Monarchy where the total powers are held by the King as prime minister and head of state. The Great Thinking Era ended when the founder of the Kingdom decided to choose an Absolute Monarchy. Moreover, the Era also included which type of government should be chosen whether a unitary government or a federal government, the founder chose a quasi-federal system under a feudal monarchy where the nobles of the realm can govern in their respective territories in all levels of government, but they are prohibited by the Sovereign to raise armies of their own. The Era also included whether to choose a Civil Law or Common Law. The Founder chose civil law since it's easier to reference and requires less revisions. The Era ended on April 20, 2022.
On 20 April 2022, The Provisional Government was established by the State Regency Council on the Order of the Chancellor, the Prince Regent, Vikramaditya I of Simharashtra.
The Provisional Government adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Citizens and established a Bill of Rights. These rights are meant to be held sacred as those rights are lawfully begotten by the Subjects of His Royal Highness, the Prince of Grandelysia, The Crown Prince and Regent by God.
The Provisional Government was established in April 2022 based on the theory of self-determination and self-sovereignty. The Crown Prince is the Prince Regent as Head of Government and State. He is the current Chancellor of the Provisional Government of Simharashtra (PGS). He shall be crowned King when the country fully establishes. The provisional constitution has been in force since December 26th of 2022. It sets out basic governing policies and rights.
The Provisional Constitution was ratified on the 26th of December 2022 after the Declaration of Independence the day before and officially began governing provisionally. The Kingdom of Simharashtra was formally established by law. His Royal Highness the Prince of Grandelysia who the Crown Prince is unilaterally ratified it. The official title of the Chief Executive of the Provisional Government was Prime Minister, but the Crown Prince amended the Provisional Constitution and changed the title to Chancellor. The title of Prime Minister will be reinstated after the Permanent Constitution has been ratified in Parliament.
Geography & Climate

The coastal plain of the seaboard gives way further inland to deciduous forests and the rolling hills of the nation. The Baronian Mountains divides the eastern seaboard from the Lakes of Camelot and the grasslands of the west. The Baronian Mountains, west of the Great Valleys, extend north to south across the country. Farther west are the Baronian Great Basin and deserts. The nation is an island surrounded by vast oceanic environments. There are different types of forests, rivers, and landscapes that are carved out of the natural phenomenon.
Climate
Simharashtra, with its adequete size and geographic variety, includes most climate types. To the east of the 100th meridian, the climate ranges from humid continental in the north to humid subtropical in the south.
The Great Valleys west of the 90th meridian is semi-arid. Many mountainous areas of the Simharashtrian West have an alpine climate. The climate is arid in the Baronian Great Basin, desert in the Southwest, Mediterranean in coastal California, and oceanic in coastal Oregon and Washington and southern Alaska. Most of Alaska is subarctic or polar. Tropical weather can be felt in the south-eastern seaboard.

The Kingdom of Simharashtra is constitutionally defined as a unitary constitutional quasi-federal absolute monarchy and sometimes it referred to as a kind of enlightened monarchism. The monarch, titled as King, is both head of state and head of government of the nation and his position is hereditary. The King is the Prime Minister and is the national executive of government. Legislative power is exercised through Parliament, the national unicameral legislature, consisting of the Legislative Council. The judicial power of the nation is exercised by the Supreme Court of Simharashtra in which the King is also the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. The Simharashtrian State is constitutionally indissoluble and rests on the common unity and respective autonomy of twenty provinces and the capital. The unity is set on five fundamental principles: sovereignty, citizenship, dignity of human beings, the social values of labour and freedom of enterprise, and freedom. The branches of government are formally established by the Constitution and is centralized into the Crown. The executive is organized independently in all three spheres of government, while the judiciary and the legislative are organized only at the national sphere.

The Kingdom of Simharashtra is a state with a civil/ common law system based on the American and British law system. The basis of the legal system is the Constitution of the Kingdom of Simharashtra which is yet to be ratified and, in its place, the provisional constitution is in force. The court system includes village, municipal, district, and provincial courts and is responsible for civil, criminal, and administrative cases.
Ministry of Law & Justice
The Ministry of Law & Justice (MOLJ), also known as the Law & Justice Ministry, is a central government department tasked with the enforcement of central government law and administration of law and justice in the Kingdom.
- The Lord Chancellor, who is a member of the Great Officers of State of the Kingdom of Simharashtra is the Minister for Law and Justice and is hereditary.
- The Attorney General is the person responsible for heading, supervising, and managing Simharashtra 's judiciary system as its justice secretary.
- Director of the National Judicial Service which is a subsidiary of the Justice Ministry is the person who oversees courts and manages the database for court personnel.
Foreign Policy
The Kingdom of Simharashtra has an established structure of foreign relations. It is a permanent member of the Micronational Security Council, and home to the International Federation of Micronations headquarters. Almost all countries have embassies, and many have consulates (official representatives) in the country. Likewise, nearly all nations host formal diplomatic missions with the Kingdom. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is tasked with foreign relations and diplomatic relations. The Diplomatic and the Humanitarian Corps are under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Minister of Foreign Affairs is the King and along with it he is also the Minister of Defence.

Military
The Simharashtrian Armed Forces, also known as His Majesty's Armed Forces, are the military services responsible for the defense of the Kingdom, its overseas territories and the Crown dependencies. The head of the Armed Forces is the Simharashtrian monarch, currently King Vikramaditya I, to whom members of the forces swear allegiance. His Majesty the King who as prime minister (acting with in his own will) makes the key decisions on the use of the armed forces. The Simharashtra Parliament approves the continued existence of the Royal Simharashtrian Army by passing an Armed Forces Act at least once every four years.
The Royal Navy is the main naval force of the Kingdom. Currently no vessels are deployed.

Ministry of Defense
The Ministry of Defense (MoD) is an executive branch department of His Majesty's Government charged with coordinating and supervising all agencies and functions of the government directly related to national security and the Kingdom of Simharashtra Armed Forces. The Sovereign is the Minister of Defense. The MoD's stated mission is to provide "the military forces needed to deter war and ensure our nation's security".
Administrative Divisions
The Kingdom consists of four Provinces Each ruled, reigned, and governed over by a duke. The Governor-Duke is responsible to the King. He shall govern independently. All governors are members of the governmental and representative peerage. All layers of government are directly administered and appointed by the Crown. These titles are separate from the citizenry. This nation follows the Neo-Feudalism Principle which was invented by His Majesty the King to bring feudalism back again to the model world but without the slavery and peasantry and citizens have all the rights chartered by the Constitution inside the feudal system. The feudal system was a political and social system that dominated Europe from the 9th to the 15th centuries. This system was based on the feudal system, which was a way of organizing society in which land was divided among a group of people who owed their allegiance to the lord of the land. This system allowed for a more orderly and centralized government, as well as a more equal distribution of wealth. The Lords pay homage to the King, the knights pay homage to the lord and the King, the general population pay allegiance to both the King and the peerage. The Witanegemot
The Witan, literally "wise men", was the king's council in Anglo-Saxon England from before the seventh century until the 11th century. It was composed of the leading magnates, both ecclesiastic and secular, and meetings of the council were sometimes called the Witenagemot. Its primary function was to advise the king on subjects such as promulgation of laws, judicial judgments, approval of charters transferring land, settlement of disputes, election of archbishops and bishops and other matters of major national importance. Its membership was composed of the most important noblemen, including ealdormen, thegns, and senior clergy. It is essentially a mini parliament which is mobile and be summoned anywhere anytime at a time of disaster or emergency. If the King is unable to sit as President, the Crown Prince takes over as its president. The Witan functions in accordance with the Regency Council. It is mostly used as a emergency parliament when the real parliament has been destroyed due to terrorism or natural disaster.

The currency of the Kingdom of the Simharashtrian Pound Sterling. It is minted by the Engraving and Printing Agency. The Engraving and Printing Agency (EPA) is a government agency within HM Treasury that designs and produces a variety of security products for His Majesty's government, most notable of which is Treasury Notes (paper money) for the Bank of Simharashtra, the nation's government-owned central bank. In addition to paper currency, the EPA produces Treasury securities; military commissions and award certificates; invitations and admission cards; and many different types of identification cards, forms, and other special security documents for a variety of government agencies. The BEP does not produce coins; all coinage is produced by the Royal Mint.
The economy of Simharashtra is a highly developed mixed economy. The Simharashtra has the most technologically powerful and innovative economy in the world. Wealth, like income and taxes, is highly distributed; 90% of the population earn a salary of 90,000 or more. The Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs is finding solutions to reduce taxes and bring foreign investments.

The National Highways in the contiguous Provinces. Personal transportation is dominated by automobiles of public roads. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is trying to reduce the number of automobiles that are causing serious climate and environmental issues. It will seek to develop infrastructure to better support the transportation industry and reduce reliance on automobiles. The civil airline industry is regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Simharashtra (C.A.A.S.). The Royal Simharashtrian Airlines is the state-owned airlines which provides domestic and international flights at an affordable price with high-class service in-flight. The Kingdom of Simharashtra has the longest rail network in the world, nearly all standard gauges. The network handles mostly freight, with intercity passenger service provided by the government. The Ministry of Railways is working to modernize the rail networks, routes, and infrastructure. The Simharashtrian National Railways (SNR) is the government-owned rail services provider. The Ministry of Civil Aviation in India is the nodal ministry responsible for the formulation of national policies and programmes for the development and regulation of civil aviation. It devises and implements schemes for the orderly growth and expansion of civil air transport in the country. Throughout Simharashtra's history, its culture has been influenced by North America-European culture and traditions, mostly by the American, British, and Indian, and by its own indigenous cultures. Over time, elements of the cultures of Simharashtra's immigrant populations have become incorporated to form a cultural mosaic. Certain segments of Simharashtra 's population have, to varying extents, also been influenced by American culture due to shared language, significant media penetration and geographic proximity.
