The Kingdom of Apollo or Apollo is in north west Europe. It was founded on 1st January 1900 by the first King of Apollo, King Reginald I.

History

At the age of 19 years old, Lord Reginald required lands from his father and he decided to turn his lands into a kingdom called Apollo, after the Greek God. And Reginald became the first King of Apollo.

Reginald I set up and appointed members of HM The Royal Council and appointed the Masters of Apollo. Members were the Monarch (Head), Consort, Heir Apparent and the Secretaries of State. The council worked on the Apollian Constitution and the council declared indepedence at 12.00am on 1 January 1900. Reginald was proclaimed King and was crowned at his coronation in front of his council and guests.

Firstly they equally divided up the land into counties, Lime (named after Reginald's father), Warren, Moor and Hurst. Reginald and his council looked for a good place to have the capital and they decided to have it in Lime. The county of Lime had a cluster of buildings and they were put to use as government buildings and Royal residences. And Reginald named the capital Luna. Over the years new buildings and estates were built across the lands.

He and his Royal Council passed the first laws, which included The Order of Succession to the Kingdom of Apollo Throne Act 1900 and they created the Peerage and Apollian Honours. He and his council contiuned to improve Apollo and Reginald founded the Royal Orion College and Royal Leto Hospital. In the county of Warren there is a forest and Reginald wanted to protect the habitat and wildlife and so HM The Government passed the Royal National Park Act 1920. After when the Act had passed, Reginald created the first Royal National Park called Royal National Park of Warren. The King and HM The Government carried on making improvements to the Apollo and when Reginald died his son Prince Edward became the King. When he was the Heir Apparent Edward was shown how to run the country and he was prepared to run the state with his government when he became King. Edward followed his father foot steps and contiuned to run the state with his council. Then his daughter became Queen.

Government

HM The Government is the government of the Kingdom of Apollo. The Head is the Sovereign. HM The Government are based in Royal Shipquays Hall in the capital of Luna. HM The Government is made up with different Departments. The Sovereign appoints the Heads Secretaries of State of each department by merit. Each HM The Government's department has members of staff who are know as His/Her Majesty's Servants.

HM The Royal Council

HM The Royal Council is the executive branch of the HM Government. It has sole authority and responsibility for the State. HM The Royal Council is the main link between HM The Government and the Monarch. Appointed Members assists and advises the Sovereign on State matters. The HM Royal Council comprises of the Sovereign, the Sovereign 's Private Secretary, Secretaries of State, the Royal Head Judge, the Consort and the Heir Apparent. There are 10 seats in the Council. All Secretaries of State serves in the name of the Sovereign. All Secretaries of State are members of Her Royal Majesty's Most Honourable Royal Council of the Kingdom of Apollo. All Secretaries of State are entitled to have the style The Right Honourable and to add the suffix RC after their name.

HM The Treasury

The government's department responsible for and putting into effect HM Government's financial and economic policies. The head of the Treasury is the Chancellor of the Exchequer. 

HM The Home Office

HM Government's department responsible for internal affairs. The head of the Home Office is the Secretary of State for Home Affairs.

HM The Foreign Office

The HM Government's department responsible for international affairs and promoting the interests of the Kingdom of Apollo abroad. The head of the HM The Foreign Office is the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs. 

HM The Environmental Office

The HM Government's department responsible for environmental issues, conservation and National Parks. The Office was last Department to be created.

HM The Royal Court

The HM Government's department responsible for enforcing and upholding the Law and with the HM The Royal Council writing and amending Acts. After the Monarch, the Royal Head Judge is the Head of the Court and a Member of HM The Royal Council. The Royal Head Judge is responsible for the management and the administration of the Court.

Law

Acts

To create acts Monarch and HM The Royal Council draw up acts. When the HM The Royal Council agree on the acts they are passed on to the HM Royal Court of Apollo to be written up. All acts must be passed through HM The Royal Court of Apollo. HM The Royal Council gives the acts a second reading. If the Monarch disapproves the acts they will go through the reform progress. The reform progress is where the Monarch, Members of HM The Royal Coucil and HM Royal Court of Apollo collaborate and amend acts. Then the Monarch give the Royal Consent and Seal, making the act law.

Masters of Apollo

The Masters of Apollo are responsible for organising State and Royal Ceremonies and Receptions, looking after the Crown and State Jewels and Robes and for creating and the administration of Coats of Arms, Honours and Peerages. The Masters of Apollo Offices are in the Royal St Ives Hall in Luna. All Masters of Apollo's state appointment is hereditary and all Masters of Apollo are all Peers and have the rank of Earl or Countess. The Masters of Apollo's staff are all know as Officers to the Masters of Apollo.

The Master of Ceremonies

The Master of Ceremonies is responsible for organising State and Royal Ceremonies which include Coronations, State Opening, Investitures, Royal Wedding and Funerals. The current Master of Ceremonies is the 3rd Earl of Airy.

The Master of Receptions

The Master of Receptions is responsible for organising State and Royal Receptions and to produce invitations. The current Master of Receptions is 4th Countess of Vennford

The Master of Jewels & Robes

The Master of Jewels and Robes is responsible for organising and looking after the Crown and State Jewels and Robes. The current Master of Jewels and Robes is 3rd Countess of Merewick

The Master of Arms

The Master of Arms is responsible for creating and the administration of Coats of Arms. The current Master of Arms is 4th Earl of Hawford

The Master of Honours

The Master of Honours is responsible for creating and the administration of Honours The current Master of Honours is 4th Earl of Salter

The Master of Peerage

The Master of Peerage creating and the administration of Peerages. The current Master of Peerage is 3rd Countess of Torland

Arts

Apollo has The Royal Museum & Art Gallery of Apollo (RMAGA), which houses the National Art Collection. The RMAGA has exhibtions on the arts, history, nature history and archaeology of Apollo. RMAGA was founded by Ann I in 2003 and she appointed the first President, His Lordship The Viscount of Toot. as the President of RMAGA. On 1st June 2003 Prince Paul officially opened it and he was shown around by the President, The Viscount of Toot. The opening was Prince Paul first Royal engagement.

Lanaguage

The official language of Apollo is English, which it descended from Old English. Also German is spoken as a second lanaguage.

Religion

Apollo is mostly an atheist state but there are some religions, which are Christanity and Catholic. Stated in The Apollian Constitution religion cannot have any influences and is prohibition in HM The Government and State matters. The Monarch does not has the style By Grace of God in their title.

Education

The main school in Apollo is the Royal Orion College, which is a private school and it is the most distinguished and prominent school in Apollo. It was founded by Reginald I in 1910. The school is notable for educating Members of the Royal Family.

Sport

Sport is popular in Apollo, the main sports are football, tennis and cycling.

Geography

The Kingdom of Apollo is made up of counties and has a capital. The counties are Moor, Warren, Lime and Hurst.

Luna

Luna is the capital of the Kingdom of Apollo. Luna is in the county of Lime. Luna is the seat of power with all of HM Government buildings including the Royal St Ives Hall and the Royal Palace of Zeus. The Royal St Ives Hall is used for State and Royal Ceremonies including Royal Weddings and State Opening. The Hall has the Throne Room which is used for Coronations, State Opening and Investitures. The Ceremonies Hall for Royal Wedding and Funerals. The Banquet Hall for banquets and receptions. And also the Hall has the Masters of Apollo's offices.

Lime

Lime has the capital Luna.  Lime shares its borders with Moor to the north and Hurst to the south.

Moor

Moor is mostly moorland called Zenmoor with a lake called Fountain Lake to the south. The River Zen rises high on Zenmoor and goes to the sea at Zenmouth. The capital of Moor is Zenmouth. Moor shares it border with Lime.

Warren

Warren is mostly a large forest which the forest is part of the Royal National Park of Warren. The capital of Warren is Dart. Warren shares its border with Hurst.

Hurst

Hurst shares its borders with Warren to the south and Lime to the north.

National Parks

The Kingdom of Apollo has a large forest to the south which the forest is part of the Royal National Park of Warren. The Royal National Park was founded by HM King Reginald I to protect the habitat and the wildlife. HM Government passed the Royal National Park Act 1920 to create national parks in Apollo.
