Lord Louis of Luna is the son of Maximilian, Duke of Luna, OS, and his wife Penelope, Duchess of Luna (later Dowager Duchess of Luna). He was born on 5th June 1955 at the Royal Leto Hosiptal in Luna. As a son of a Duke, Louis was styled The Lord Louis of Luna and he was named Louis Leoplod Valentine. His father was a Member of HM The Royal Council and served as Equerry to Reginald I and Edward I. He was invested as a Member of the Most Noble Order of the Star. Reginald I granted Maximilian the title The Duke of Luna with the style His Lordship, so far this is the only time that non Royalty have received a Dukedom. Dukedoms are usually only granted to Royalty and on very rare occasions the Monarch grant a Dukedom to non Royalty. Louis's mother was Lady-in-Waiting to Queen Mary. His mother became The Duchess of Luna and when her husband died she became The Dowager Duchness of Luna. Her daughter-in-law Princess Ann became the new Duchess of Luna on her wedding day. Much of Louis's childhood was spent at the Luna's family home Goldmoor House in Lime and he went to Royal Orion College in Luna, where he studied history and sport. When his father died in 1980, Louis inherted his father title The Duke of Luna and he became known as His Lordship The Duke of Luna.

Edward I's health declined during 1993, on 18th May the King died at Emanuel Manor and his daughter became the Queen. On 18th May 1993 Louis was appointed an Ambassador of State and a Member of HM The Royal Council as the Consort. His mother-in-law Queen Mary passed on her membership of HM The Royal Council to Louis as the Consort of the Monarch. Louis was now the King Consort of Ann I and he was crowned with his wife at the coronaton in Royal St Ives Hall on 1st June 1993. He received HM The Queen Ann I Coronation Medal. On Investiture Day 1990 was granted membership to the Most Noble Order of the Sky and Universe by Ann I. As consort to the Queen, Louis supports his wife in her duties as Sovereign, accompanying her to ceremonies such as State Opening of HM The Government, state dinners and tours aboard.
