The June 2021 Georgienstinian gubernatorial elections were held on 18-19 July 2021. They were held in three states, Drayton, Nassau and Qaucasia.
The election resulted in Georgienstine First victory. The party won in many states where incumbent Social Democratic governors retired.
Annulled Harrisburg recall election
On July 7, 2021, a petition to recall governor Ariel Lederman gained enough signatures to qualify for the ballot, pending certification. After the announcement and the release of an opinion poll showing that a majority of people supported the effort, Lederman resigned and was succeeded by lieutenant-governor Roy Jackson, cancelling the election. Organizers argued that the recall election still applied for Jackson, but the Federal Electoral Commission ruled against it.
