The Empire of Invictus is a constituent nation within the United Federation of the Terra Excelsior Republic known as Invictus or the Empire of invictus, is an empire consisting of the capitol city land territory, known as the fortress of Invictus, 5 small island territories gained from former allied states dissolved into invictus during the excelsorian state territory organization, 4 subjegated territories invictus has gained in wars against foreign threats, and several other territories gained in wars and diplomacy. Invictus is the largest excelsorian state by population, having over 74 people, over half of excelsior's overall population
Invictus is incredibly militaristic, with every citizen in the Empire conscripted upon joining. Invictus also has a strong military culture that focuses on honor, martial prowess, and victory at all costs.
Invictus is led by a councilist government that acts as a powerful advisory body to the leader of invictus, Silas wurnbash. Though he can choose to occasionally not follow the decisions of the council, the council is made up of the most powerful figures within invictus, so silas needs their support to govern.
Invictus council
The Invictus council makes all the governing decisions for the empire of invictus. The council includes:
- A seat reserved for the leader of Invictus, The Commander General, who leads the council
- A seat reserved for the Head of the IIB, or the Invictus Intelligence Bureau
- A seat reserved for the Head of the Invictus Military Police and the Commander General's personal guard
-A seat reserved for each of the leaders of the Largest 2 populated territories within Invictus.
Internal territories
Fortress of invictus
The Fortress of Invictus was the first territory that invictus ever had. It is the command hub of the vast invictus military and also the ceremonial residing place of the invictus council, though the council mostly meets via discord. The fortress of invictus was also the site of the battle of park slope in the Excelsior-Granolan war.
The fortress is used for training and is the first and last line of defense for excelsior.
Invictus Secundus
Invictus was also given a island claim in the Excelsorian archipelago. It is a flat rock that sticks out of the water. it is the farthest of the Excelsorian held isles from shore, and is one of the most visually prominent. It does not have too much activity, and is governed by Harold. R.
Frazirioberg
Frazirioberg was a state in the Invictus alliance formerly owned by Arlo W before the excelsior state territory organization. It's island in the excelsorian archepeligo was added to the territory of invictus when it became part of invictus in the organization. It is governed by Arlo W.
Odyseuss
The former state Odyseuss used to be belonging a politician in excelsior named peleg who left about 6 months after the nation was formed. When he left invictus took control of the land and made Lola. g the governor. It was then part of the invictus alliance before its isle was finally returned once again to Invictus in the state territory organization. It is governed by Lola G
Improbus
Improbus used to be called hreslvisla, and was governed by jasper, but the territory was claimed by invictus in the 1st excelsior civil war. It was renamed and given a new governor in Lena B.
It was in the invictus alliance before returning to invictus in the state territory organization, where it continues to be led by Lena.B. It is the largest island in the archipelago by land mass.
GI outpost
After knocking goose island out of the 5th Excelsorian civil war, as part of the negotiations Invictus was given an outpost in the center of goose island, a key strategically valuable point for any future conflicts between the historic rivals. When goose island dissolved into The Reil Islands, the territory stayed in invictisian hands.
Duck island territory
The territory along Duck Creek was carved up by multiple nations including excelsior, during the great Duck Island War. The territory has a hill and some trees.
Greater Brooklyn
Greater Brooklyn is an area of park slope, Brooklyn, that was decided to be shared between Invictus and new Brooklyn as a result of the 2nd Invictus- new Brooklyn war. it is the largest Invictus territory by land area, covering several city blocks.
New Brooklyn
taking advantage of a moment of weakness, Invictus annexed the rest of new Brooklyn in July, 2023. The terrirory, and the greater Brooklyn territory, are both governed by Gus G.
Dylanland, granola, duckland, and new vitone
Dylanland, Duckland, Granola, and New Vitione are all subjegated territories of invictus. Since invictus is the home of the excelsorian military and also contributes over half the troops in said military invictus takes any land excelsior wins in conflict. Dylanland, Duckland, and Granola are all whole nations defeated and claimed by excelsior in various wars, while new vitione was a part of the nation vivione but was taken by excelsior in the sidewalk war.
