The Intermicronation Union (also known as The Union or the IMU) is an association of micronations from around the World. It was founded on December 2, 2016 and is still active as of August 22, 2018.
Requirements
- Any prospective country must abide by all member countries' land claims.
- Any prospective country must be at peace with all member countries.
- Any prospective country should have at least 5 citizens. However, the number can be as low as 2.

History
On December 2, 2016 the IMU was established. At the time, the Empire of Skywalkistan was the only member. Soon after, the Principality of Garonne and the United Federation of Fornelos joined the union on December 12, 2016 and December 14, 2016, respectively. As of December 16, 2016 the flag was changed. Also, as of December 16, the Union is against (but not at war with in any way) the Intercommunist Union of Micronations. On December 17, 2016, the Barony of Voyflen joined the Union. The following day, the Republic of Wynaan joined the Union. As of December 20, 2016 the Union 'anti-alligned' itself with the Democratic People's Republic of Jonitoria. As of December 22, 2016 the official currency is the United Pound (£) and there is an open border policy. The Kingdom of New Pugnasia joined the Union on January 31, 2017. The Commonwealth of Crystal had a referendum on joining, but 52 percent said no. Later, on March 2, 2017 the Republic of Jakistan joined the Union. On November 25, 2017, Garonne left the Union. On December 26, 2017, the Kingdom of New Yankeeland joined the Union. The following day, Ourania, New Rizalia, and Titania joined the union.
