Sean II and V (born Ishan Jhenaraine-Jeannienne Jha de Mayelle), addressed as His Majesty, Sean II and Juan Ricardo de Lascirio (in Mendoza) is the founder and reigning sovereign of the Kingdom of Laskaridia, a micronation in Southern California and the Emperor of Mendoza where he is known as The Good (Spanish: El Bueño). He also served as the Minister of Education in Juniperia. He is a micronational educator and mathematician, lecturing in the University of Adler, Imperial University of Austenasia, and the University of Marksburg. He ascended to the throne automatically when Juniperia ceded Laskaridia, formerly a Governorate. He is one of the two primary authors of the Codex Shahanicus, and has seen its promulgation. He serves as the Sovereign of the Laskaridian Commonwealth Association, and thus the monarch of its realms (unless stated otherwise in the respective documents of integration).

Being the only monarch of Laskaridia so far, he has been involved in its history various times. He was the Liutenant Mayor of Laskaridia under Shahan II and briefly during the Ruisseauan Civil War. During the reign of Athena II, he was the Governor General of Laskaridia and saw its promulgation to the status of a historical site. He and the Queen of Juniperia underwent private talks during the Insurgency in Westavia to see his acension to the Throne of Laskaridia, due to him being one of the three native Westavians in Adler. He currently reigns as the King of Laskaridia. In Austenasia, he served as a lecturer and a theologian in the Austenasian Curia, where he is now the Pontifex Maximus, succeeding Maxine II. He serves under the pontifical name Archelaeus I. On the online micronational encyclopedia, MicroWiki, he is the 47th most prolific editor.

Politics

The King of Laskaridia began "proper" micronationalism (the modern "Discord-centric" sector) in 2019. His first nation of experience was Georgienstine. At this time, he was in semi-exile and had only one noble title. He gained citizenship, initially hoping for diplomacy. He joined the left-leaning coalitions, including the Movement for Socialism (MfS). He played a pseudo-influential role when the party split. He eventually chose to follow the path of Venceremos led by Benjamin Olson. He became a representative from this party, and eventually became Minority Whip. This effectively marked the peak of his time in Georgienstine.

The King joined again some years later, where he now held right-wing views. He gained a membership in Georgienstine First (GF) where he became a major campaigner and contributor. He founded news agencies and companies during this time. He campaigned against the incumbent Governor of Augustine, Nicholas Caiazzo and won on behalf of Georgienstine First. His campaign used relatively new strategies like artificial intelligence, and advertisement campaign videos. Under his term, the province saw a weather station, (ceremonial) police force and most importantly, a new state-led legislature. Due to disagreements with Wyatt Baek, he resigned from his positions a few months after. He is now in the server of Georgienstine but does not actively engage in its politics or administration.

Concurrently with his ventures in Georgienstine, the King also led political careers in Setara and Juniperia. Jha initially founded Setara to be a digital democratic nation. At first, due to its fledgling population, it was an anocracy but elections were held. Setara eventually became a bastion of sorts in the ongoing poxy-conflict between Zeprana and Charles Madgett (which would eventually turn to war). Jha then founded Juniperia on September 1st 2022. After fighting a short-lived war with Gapla, he became focused on building the nation. With a military, cabinet and intelligence force. A referendum was pushed by Jha to install Athena II as Queen of Juniperia, it succeeded and Juniperia became a monarchy. The time after this (January to June) marked a significant overhaul in Juniperian life. Juniperia became a member of the Cupertino Alliance, and under Jha's representation, voted on several resolutions. Juniperia established diplomatic ties with Baustralia and Vishwamitra.

Eventually, as his other activities became more pressing, he resigned. June saw the last proper election in Juniperia before this resignation and saw the installment of the Hoorizadeh government. In what was known as the "July 4th statement," Jha resigned as Minister of Foreign Affairs, replacing him was Artin Kordavi. Juniperian politics declined rapidly, its representation in the Cupertino Alliance dwindled and it was eventually expelled peacefully.

As King of Laskaridia, Sean II and V serves as both the head of the Armed Forces (Commander in Chief of the Forces), and the ceremonial head of its departments. He is the head of the nation and its highest representative, meaning he can imitate diplomatic relations and terminate them. He also serves as the fount of honor and can initiate new realms into the Commonwealth and grant honors.

The title and style of the sovereign of Laskaridia is, by default, "Royal Majesty." But this has since varied due to the incorporation of various realms into the commonwealth. The King of Laskaridia is the highest order of titelage in all the commonwealth as such, despite "Emperor" being traditionally higher than "King," the Emperor of Mendoza (despite being held in concurrence) is ranked below the King of Laskaridia. Much like how the British sovereigns were "Emperors" of India, yet "King of the United Kingdom" remained the primary and highest title in the realms of the British.
