Cascadia is a town in Holderton, the capital of Baustralia, and also one of the three oldest towns in Baustralia. It was designated Capital on 2 July 2017 after the separation of Kingstown, Cold Creek.
History
At the establishment of the town, it was formerly more southern, before being pushed north by Canadian residential construction. Upon reaching the end of its original limits, Cascadia annexed the uninhabited land connecting itself to Holderton County and Tremur.
Cascadia then incorporated the boundaries of Holderton County and Tremur, and later incorporated the residual territory of Concord after the sale of Concord Palace. Formerly unconnected to, but passing near, Kingstown, Ostreum, it is now connected through expansions by Acts of Parliament in late 2023, along with nearby Bouland, Wangatangia.
In 2024, the colonies of Wanagatangia and Ostreum were incorporated into Baustralia, and Cascadia took on the limits of Bouland, Kingstown and Mayhew.
Designation
It was legally designated a city in early 2023 by Act of Parliament, which by the same Act, amalgamated the city with the Municipality of Holderton County, not to be confused with the superordinate County of Holderton.
