The Baustralian Army, formerly His Royal Army, is Baustralia's land warfare force, responsible for the protection of the Crown, territorial borders, and Baustralian land itself. The Baustralian Army has always been the second-strongest force, and is junior to His Royal Navy.

History

Originally called His Royal Army, it was renamed upon the amalgamation of His Royal Air Force, becoming the Air Command, to better match the armies of Canada and the United Kingdom. The Air Command has since separated into HRAF again.

It was formed on 2 July 2017 by John with Emily Day named the Chief of the General Staff. The only active units are the 1st Regiment "King's Grenadiers", 2nd Regiment "Royal Rifles", and the 1st Field Ambulance.

Prior to Lieutenant general Watts appointment as Commander-in-Chief, Land Forces, the Baustralian Army was half the strength of His Royal Navy. With recruitment efforts by Watts, then the Provost Marshal (Army), the Royal Rifles was formed, and he was appointed CINCLAND.

Structure

The Baustralian Army is commanded titularly by the Commander in Chief, John, and professionally by the Chief of the General Staff, a position held by General Sir Greg Watts.

Ranks, specialisms, and insignia

Baustralian Army ranks, specialisms, and insignia form part of the uniform of the Baustralian Army. The uniforms are based on the uniforms of the British Army. Rank insignia is similar to the Canadian design, using the Baustralian crown, and placing the baton and scimitar below the pips. The pips are Order of the Gadus stars. The cadet insignia lacks the pip, similar to the British design.
