Guard ranks of Arlandica

The Guard ranks of Arlandica are the military-inspired ranks used by the Civil Guards of Arlandica (CGA), the primary law enforcement agency of the Kingdom of Arlandica.

Introduction

The Civil Guard has three styles of ranks:

• Guard ranks, which are used by the Ground Regular Forces and the Special Forces
• Air Force ranks, which are used by the Arlandican Air Force
• Naval ranks, which are used by the Arlandican Navy

Arlandica does not follow the ranking system of other states and thus has its own simple system. According to the Chief of Staff, General Jay Arce, there are five (5) ranks in all branches.

The highest rank is held by the monarch, serving as the Grand Marshal, Marshal of the Air, and Admiral of the Fleet in their capacity as the commander-in-chief.

The lowest rank is for enlisted personnel, serving as Guardsman, Airman, or Seaman. The remaining ranks are held by the unit commanders, considered as commissioned officers.
