Grant Bruns C&S, CN, AM is the current Duke of the Duchy of Aeolia, part of the Kingdom of Northwood-Oregon. He joined micronationalism when he became a citizen of the Duchy of Clay, becoming more involved with the founding of the Duchy of Aeolia. He is the former owner and now manager of Gruntioli Studios.
Micronational career
Grant initially joined micronationalism when he became a citizen of the Duchy of Clay, part of the Kingdom of Northwood-Oregon, on 29 September 2020 after being invited by Carson Snyder.
In the Northwood-Oregon, Grant initially started simply as a citizen of the Duchy of Clay, despite residing in Toledo, Ohio. Later, on 9 November 2020, Grant was invited to switch his citizenship to the Duchy of Propinquity by then Duchess Sarah Freck, something that had not yet been done, much less encouraged. This caused a controversy within the Kingdom, which was resolved the next day by Grant founding the Duchy of Aeolia and becoming a Duke in his own right. This also made Grant the first Duke to be from, and have a Duchy in, Toledo.
