The Græcian Stater is the currency of Græcia. It is subdivided into 10 ovoli (Hellenic: ὀβολοί; Neoclassical Latin: OBOLĪ; South Ruthenian: оволі; Græcian: 𐌉𐌋𐌏𐌁𐌏). The ISO 4217 currency code for the Græcian Stater is GRS.
History
The stater was an ancient coin used in various regions of Hellas. The term is also used for similar coins, imitating Hellenic staters, minted elsewhere in ancient Europe. It literally means "weight" in Ancient Hellenic.
On 6 May 2023 AD it was officially adopted by the Kingdom of Arkaland, following an agreement between the Governorate of Græcia and the fellow Hellenistic micronation.
