The Governor of Oahu (Hawaiian: Kiaʻaina o Oʻahu) is the representative of the North American monarch and government in the Oahu colony. The office was established in May 2015 but remained vacant until August 2016. Although the Governor is the colony's chief executive, in practice he is bound by convention to act on the advice of the emperor. The governor is responsible for enforcing laws passed by the North American Congress and upholding rulings of the Ministry of Justice.

Although no document states this it is common practice in the NAC that before entering upon the functions of his or her office, the Governor must take the oath of allegiance and the oath of office. The wording for the oath of office is as practiced is:

"I, name, do swear (or solemnly affirm) that I will well and truly serve His Imperial and Royal Majesty Emperor William the First, His Heirs and Successors, and the people of the Oahu Colony, and will uphold the laws in force in the Oahu colony, in the office of Governor. (So help me God.)"
