Fort Fuca was the capital of the Principality of Novapara, and the seat of the Baku Region. It is also the largest settlement within the micronation. It's was located in the eastern part of the nation, on the hills overlooking the sound. Fort Fuca was founded on January 22, 2016, but renamed and incorporated on April 11, 2016. It has a population of 5, making up for 55% of the country's population.

The fort is home to the Royal Estate, Mesa Drive, the Novaparan Government and the head quaters of several companies and organizations including Novapara Co. and NOO.

History

Originally the settlement was known simply as "The Royal Estate" as it is the property of the royal family. As the nation grew is was decided that there should be a more public setting the seat of the government and thus the fort was officially established. The settlement was named Fort Fuca after Juan de Fuca tectonic plate and famous Greek explorer Ioánnis Phokás and the nearby historic Fort Casey.

Government

The city is a federal district and does not have a mayor. The government of Novapara have completely political power over the authority over the city. If activated a city council may be established, serving as a public elected legislator that will assist in the managing of the city.

Climate & Geography

Located in the Baku region of Novapara it has a warm-summer Mediterranean climate (Köppen climate classification: Csb). Located in the Olympic rain shadow belt Fort Fuca gets significantly less rain then much of the Pacific Northwest region, similar gloomier weather though.
