Foreign relations of Wegmat

The Foreign relations of Wegmat is based on an unofficial foreign policy promoted by the Prime Minister. Foreign policy in Wegmat has changed through the years. The current policy is to remain neutral on all issues that do not concern the national security or anti-bigotry policy of Wegmat.


Micronational organisations

Grand Unified Micronational

Australis originally applied to become a member state of the Grand Unified Micronational in May 2019, and was subsequently executively rejected by multiple chairmen before Wegmat admitted observership in September 2019. On 10 November, Wegmat was accepted as a full member of the GUM. Wegmat has been inactive in the GUM for much of its time as a full member. Wegmat was given a notice that it could be removed due to inactivity. The Wegmat Foreign Exchange Ministry appointed Thorin Neaal as their main representative to the GUM.

Sister cities

In phase six of the GUM Sister Cities Program, commenced in February 2021, the Australissian capital city of New Yera was assigned four sister cities.

Cupertino Alliance

Wegmat has been a member of the Cupertino Alliance early in its re-establishment however has been historically inactive. Prime Minister Cole Baird served as Minister of Environment and Geographical Information in the 1st Cupertiono Alliance Ministry and created the Cupertino Areas of National Interest Program.

Close ties

Wegmat has close ties with all nations in the TOES Sector and the Chaveleir Union.
