Foreign relations of Blazdonia

Ministry Standards for Diplomacy

Blazdonia maintains a neutral foreign policy with all the nations it currently has formal bilateral and diplomatic relations with. The fundamental and core aim of the nation is to promote peace, prosperity, and happiness with all other nations and to establish a region where all nations mutually contributes to the promotion of the noble cause. Despite having a neutral foreign policy, Blazdonia tends to extend constant support and help to all nations that seek help, guidance, and cooperation.

Blazdonia fully adheres to the terms and conditions laid forth by the Wrythe Convention and the Edgbaston Convention in handling matters related to its foreign affairs and has entered into relations with only those nations which respect the terms of the two conventions. Blazdonia has strongly criticized and expressed its voice against acts of sock-puppeting, identity theft, and false claims within micronationalism. Blazdonia also aims to establish the peaceful resolution of intermicronational disputes, respect for intermicronational laws and the creation of principles regarding what are to be considered acts of aggression to micronational sovereignty, as well as the commitment to prohibit disproportionate practices for defense in case of aggression.

Current foreign policy

The current foreign policy of Blazdonia was implemented on 4 May 2021 and became effective on the same day.

Nations must adhere to all or most of these points in the policy to be considered for diplomacy;

• The nation must be at least six months old, effective from the date of establishment, or at least depict the characteristics of a nation that is six months old. (Applicable to wavier only by the monarch)
• The nation must claim its own sovereignty and shall claim itself to be a real nation, as Blazdonia does not entertain relations with any roleplay nation.
• The nation must have serious claims, and at least 50% (approximate) of the land should be able to be visited.
• The nation must respect Blazdonia's system of government, its culture, tradition, and vice versa.
• The nation must not be indulged in any form of war, conflict and should not encourage it, nor should it illegally claim sovereignty over any other nation.
• The nation must have a stable system of government with detailed information on its leaders, system of government.
• The nation must be on any form of social site like - MicroWiki, website, Discord, Twitter, Facebook, etc.-where information regarding the nation shall be collected.
• The nation must have a stable population (more than 4) and the information regarding the population should be true. (Applicable to wavier only by the monarch)
• The nation must not be imaginary or indulge in imaginary activities.
• The nation must recognize, respect and adhere to the terms and conditions laid forth by the Wrythe and Edgbaston Conventions (It is not mandatory for the nation to be a signatory).

Any nation that satisfies the mentioned terms and conditions as per the foreign policy is eligible to establish bilateral relations with the kingdom.
