The flag of Aswington is the national ensign of the country. It was officially adopted on May 3, 2017. The flag has a light green field, with an eight-pointed star in the center and a white vertical stripe.

The flag is used to represent the country at all levels.

Symbolism

The light green color symbolizes nature, while the white color represents purity and tranquility. The eight-pointed star, which is located in the light green canton, symbolizes unity. The eight-pointed star however, is an islamic symbol. Countries such as Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan use them on their national coats of arms.

Historical flags

After being founded, the country adopted a flag almost similar to the current design, however, the tone of the green field was different. Months later, on November 28, the flag was changed to its current design.
