The flag of the Empire of Kapreburg is a tricolor flag which consists of a dark green, orange, and navy blue stripe. The current flag was originally adopted in 2015, but fell out of use in 2016. When transforming from a Federation to a Republic, Kapreburg needed a new flag so they chose the old Zek design they had.

Official guide for folding the flag

Outdoors

Flag code states that any pole used to hoist the flag must be no shorter than five feet long. It also states that when displaying the flag outdoors, it is recommended to have the pole point straight up, if that is not possible then it is recommended the pole is at a 45 degree angle, if that is not possible then the pole must never be any lower than 90 degrees.

Indoors

Flag code states that it is best to display a 3 by 5 foot flag pinned to the wall with the fly side pointed downwards. It is also acceptable to hang it on a wall with the base pointed downwards.

Blazon

The official blazon of the flag used by the government is Tierced per fess, Vert, Orange, and Azure. Since Orange is a very uncommon tincture in heraldry, some people use Tenne in place of Orange in the blazon.

Pledge of allegiance to the flag of Kapreburg

The pledge of allegiance to the flag is as followed, “I vow my life to the flag of the Empire of Kapreburg, and it’s chief of Vert, fess of Orange and base of Azure I will defend at all costs for as long as I may live.” According to the flag code, you must give the pledge at standing attention looking towards the flag with your right hand over your heart. The flag code also states that if you are not in military uniform while giving the pledge, you must remove any non religious headgear and hold it directly downwards in your left hand.
