The national flag of Esgeldia is the official symbol of Esgeldia, along with the anthem and coat of arms, is one of the national symbols. It is a canvas of three equal stripes: the upper one is green, the middle one is red, and the lower one is golden. It is in the ratio of 1:2 (as a tribute to the flag of Latvia).

Its horizontal version has proportions of 2:1, and the coat of arms of Esgeldia is placed in its center - a red varangian shield with a golden Phoenix bird.

Legal status

The legal status (rules of use and reproduction) of the state flag of Esgeldia are regulated by Article 3 and 4 of the Constitution of Esgeldia, as well as the law "On the state flag of the Holy Esgeldian Tsardom" of 6 December 2021. Among other things, on the basis of the decree of the Tsar of Esgeldia dated 30 December 2020, there is a state historical flag of Esgeldia - a red and gold bicolor with the coat of arms of the country in the proportion of 2:3. This flag was used in the early stages of the existence of esgeldian statehood in 2016-2018.
