As a friendly correction, I believe the arms of Carshalton should be or rather than argent, as the blazon I found here states "Or on a Chevron between in chief two Lions rampant combatant Gules and in base a Greyhound passant Sable a Fountain between two Sprigs of Oak fructed Argent." :)
