The Field Marshal of the Realm (Portuguese: Marechal de Campo do Reino) is the a five-stars and the highest attainable military rank in Ebenthal, formely at the Armed Forces of Ebenthal (most specifically at the former Royal Ebenthali Army), and currently at the Ebenthali Reserve Force. The Field Marshal serves as the country's chief of staff of military. The holder of the office is freely appointed by the Sovereign, disregarding the political party in office at the parliament. Usually, but not necessarily, the Field Marshal also gets to be the Ministry of War, despite both offices being entirely independent from each other.
