The Leitzmeritz Monarchy, formerly also known as the State of Žatec, was one of the micronations in Central Europe. It bordered the Czech Republic.
History
After another subsequent controversial behavior of Jan Mírný, Eric Šmidor thought about the creation of an independent Menderia as of July 7, 2020. The formation of Menderia was also supported by Naemal Namul-den, and he became one of the founders. The actual formation came about on 12 July with the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration of Independence had four pages, but the fourth page wasn't published because the founders' signatures on that page could be forged. The founders include Štěpán Fremund, Eric Šmidor, Naemal Namul-den and Waldemar Šmidor. The founders were joined by Imrich Kvajda. The founders were a provisional government until the first parliamentary elections (24-26 July 2020). On 18 September 2020, a revolution took place, Qimel was deposed by Stepan Fremund and the state of Žatec was established. On the morning of February 5, 2021, Jakub Václav officially abolished this micronation.
War with Mendersia
The most important day in history was, of course, the Declaration of Independence (DN). Despite the fact that there is an error in the DN (Menderia actually declared independence from the Czech Republic, but the DN says independence from Menderia), Jan Mírný did not hesitate to declare war on Menderia. Litoměřice was thus in a state of war, although it wanted to end the war but cannot, but Menderia was currently inactive and probably didn't want to negotiate peace.
Revolution
Initiated by the top politicians of the surrounding micronations, a coup occurred in Menderia on September 18, 2020, Eric Šmidor was overthrown and a hastily formed revolutionary republic was formed, Eric Šmidor recognized the surrender at 4:53pm and a new state was formed. The State of Žatec was quickly renamed to the Leitmeritz monarchy and Jakub Václav was elected as a first prince.
But Leitmeritz monarchy was short-lived and quickly fell into a deep inactivity, which lead to dissolution of Monarchy in just a few months.
1. Žatec defenestration
On September 19, between 9-10:20am, there was a large server-wide account dump, involving the elimination of former allies of Eric, inactive accounts, and the like. It all started with MEE5 being banned. In total, 28 people were kicked out. This marked the definitive downfall of Menderia and the creation of the State of Žatec.
Government
Leitmeritz monarchy was a federal parliamentian monarchy with its own parliament, known as the Princely Council.
