Officially the Micronations World Cup and popularly known as Microworld cup, it is the maximum Football Association tournament developed in micronationalism, it is managed by the Federation of Intermicronations & Independet Fotball Associations, FIIFA. Is played every year since 2016 and currently has the participation of 24 micronations, the slogan of the tournament is "Let the Peoples Play" this as it encompasses micronationalism and marginalized regions of the world, showing that soccer unites the passion of the people and crosses borders.

The Throphy

The Micronations World Cup™ is an annual sporting event and, like any international event, has its own trophy, it has a square marble base 13 cm wide and 3 cm high, the body and the casserole are made of stained metal Gold colored both forming a total of 15 cm high, and has been kept as the official Micronations World Cup™ trophy since 2016.

The History

In 2015, a meeting was held between federations of the Persian Football Federation with the directions of the Republic of Fitberland so that in 2016 an Association Football tournament was organized, this tournament had a great impact since for the first edition there was supported by 16 micronations.

The ante room of 2016 Fitberland and Persico had agreed to host the First Micro World Cup, but after a decline in Fitberland, only Persico was confirmed as the venue for the first Micro World Cup, it is worth mentioning that the event was a success, granting the seat to its Colombian successor the Social State of El Golden.

In 2017 El Dorado organized the second edition of the micro-world championship with a participation of 16 micronations and in this event the Democratic Republic of Belia was crowned as Two-time Micronational Champion.

South America showed great interest in micronational soccer since before El Dorado, Rino Island was presented as the venue for the tournament, El Dorado was chosen after the Rino Island government announced its withdrawal from the micromundial.

In 2018 the World Cup of Micronations was hosted by a micronation of Russian origin, this after FIFA organized its World Cup in that nation, the chosen one was the micronation of Svetlorussia, it is worth mentioning that said tournament was a success.

For 2019, the micronations of Sanghkeilli and Schykille would announce their candidacy together for the organization of the 2019 micro-world championship and that the Iberian United Kingdom would win after Belia did not participate.

In 2020 the Organizing Committee of the FIIFA Micronations World Cup in a meeting in Parisigrad a few months before the micronation was played, they would announce the venues for 2021 and 2023 that would be awarded to Vladivaskaya and Persian respectively, after which in that year the FIIFA announced that the World Cup of Micronations would be played every 3 years starting in 2023.

Soccer in the micronational sphere has grown strongly and for this reason FIIFA has decided that as of August 2021 the official date for the nomination of the 2026 and 2029 micro-worlds would open.
