The Evanorian Monarchy is a branch of Evanorian government, as established in the Constitution of Evanoria. The Monarchy is largely symbolic, however, it holds supreme power in a few fields, such as nobility and heraldry.
It is lead by the Monarch, who is referred to as the King if male and Queen if female. The current monarch is King Peter I, who has reigned since Evanoria's Declaration of Independence on February 28, 2017.
Powers and Duties
As per the Constitution of Evanoria, the monarch has supreme legislative, executive, and judicial powers in the following disciplines:
- Heraldry
- Nobility
- Chivalric Orders
- Matters relating solely to the monarchy
Pieces of legislation promulgated by the Monarchy are known as Royal Decrees.
