The Hon. Sir Grant Hawkins COA is a Judge in the Empire of Adammia. He was the governor of Adammic Columbia, a former colony of Adammia, a former leader of the Empire of Nova Atlantis, former Grand Duke of New Lviv and former Vorsitzender of Abelden.
Hawkins is also notable for being a descendant of Sir John Hawkins.
Early life
Sir Grant Hawkins was born on 24 July 1997 in Ohio. At age 10 he took a strong interest in politics and geography due to the constant news of the 2008 US presidential election. At age 12 he took up an interest in history.
Micronational career
In 2012 a friend had informed Grant about Sealand. Curious he went to check it out. This quickly peaked his interest and soon started to browse microwiki. In September 2014 the Empire of Nova Atlantis was founded after many months of observing the community, but utterly failed due to lack of website building knowledge. In early 2015 Lord Sir Grant Hawkins stumbled upon the Empire of Adammia where he submitted his request to join. Upon joining he became very influential in the empire and was active in the empire until August 2016, when he defected to the Holy Roman Empire. He returned to Adammic politics in November 2016, with Adammic Columbia rejoining Adammia, but left again in June 2017.
In August 2020 he was appointed as a Judge in Adammia. He ordinarily sits in the Crown Court (civil first instance) and the Criminal Appellate Court.
Abelden
Personal life
Aside from micronationalism Sir Grant Hawkins is an avid coin and banknote collector. He is also very into politics (a registered Republican), history, traveling, video gaming, geography and genealogy. Sir Grant Hawkins is also a big film buff and enjoys a wide variety of metal music.
