Englica is a parliamentary democracy with parties that both serve on the local and National level.

Parties

Hilltop Salvation Party

Known as the Salvation Party on national level.

The Salvation Party is a right-wing, nationalist political party based in Lower Stevenshous in the Kingdom of Hilltop. They hold one seat in the Hilltop local parliament.

It was formed in early 2020 as the Fascist Party by Harrison Bert and George Heywood in Bertia with a far-right Fascist ideology. It was initially neutral on Jackobitism but after Prince Jack, Duke of Gillingham rigged a parliamentary vote to support the ideology, the party declared support for Max I. It held the seat of Bertia from the 2021 Hilltop general election until Bertia achieved semi-independence in June 2021 after the Antenna War.

After Bertian independence, the group was reformed under Prince Christopher, Duke of Winterbourne and Princess Linda, Duchess of Shaftesbury to distance it from Fascist ideology and becoming a general right-wing, nationalist group. It currently holds one seat in Hilltop’s local parliament, Lower Stevenshous, under Charlotte Young. Their biggest success was being in a coalition government with the Social Democrats for a few days in August 2021 after Charlotte Young defected to the Salvation Party over the Biblical Bill. During this time, despite not being an MP, Prince Christopher, Duke of Winterbourne served as Deputy District Minister.

Social Democrat Party

The current ruling party in Hilltop and the majority party in the Englican parliament. It is a centre-left party that advocates for workers rights and Anti-Jackobitism. It is led by Queen Mother Donna, Duchess of Tarrant. It held a majority in the 2020 election but they lost 2 seats in the 2021 Hilltop general election to the Jackobites, weakening their hold over parliament.

They have maintained a majority since the 2020 election but briefly had to enter a coalition with the Hilltop Salvation Party in August 2021 with Prince Christopher, Duke of Winterbourne as Deputy District Minister.

Foreign Monster Raving Loony Party

Englican novelty party, led by Prince Daniel, Duke of Mere. It advocates for 'expulsion of idiots' and rule by dogs.

They hold one city, Stevenshous Capital, where Daniel is Mayor. They are not participating in general elections on local and National level.

Feminist Party

Led by Lara Miller, cousin of Harrison Bert. It supports gender equality and the abolition of sub-national monarchies.

It does not hold any seats or cities but had a large increase of voters in the 2021 Hilltop General election.
