Edward I (Edward Isaac Paul; born 1st January 1930), OS, was the second King of Apollo. He become King when his father Reginald I died in 1978 and reigned until his death in 1993. He was King for 15 years.

Early life

Prince Edward was the son of Reginald I and Queen Rose. His mother was the only daughter of Charlotte, Crown Princess of Lanock and her husband Leoplod, Prince Consort of Lanock. He was born on 1st January 1930 at the Royal Leto Hospital. Edward was the first prince to be born into the Royal House of Lynn. Five days after he was born Prince Edward was named Edward at his Naming Ceremony in the Yellow Drawing Room at Royal Palace of Canon. Members of the Royal Family attended the ceremony including Edward's maternal grandparents Crown Princess and Prince Consort of Lanock. Reginald I granted Prince Edward membership to the Most Noble Order of the Royal House of Lynn to officially recognise Prince Edward's membership to the Royal House. By the Royal Family it was decided that Prince Edward was to be educated at Royal Orion College instead of being educate at home by a governess.

Marriage

Prince Edward got engaged to Princess Mary of the Kingdom of Neptune. The couple met when the Royal Family of Neptune came for a State Visit to Apollo. The couple got married in the Royal St Ives Hall in Luna. The Master of Ceremonies, Earl of Airy conducted the ceremory. The couple had two children Princess Ann (later Ann I) and Prince Leonardo.

Reign

Succession

At birth, he was the Heir Apparent to the throne of the Kingdom of Apollo. Prince Edward became King of the Kingdom of Apollo upon the death of his father, Reginald I in 1978. The Coronation Day for Edward I  was on 1st September 1978. The Coronation took place in the Royal St Ives Hall in Luna where the Master of Ceremonies conducted the ceremory and crowned The King alonw with Queen Mary.

As a son of the monarch, Prince Edward held the title of a Apollian prince, with the style His Royal Highness, his full style being Her Royal Highness The Princes Edward Isaac Paul of the Kingdom of Apollo. On his wedding day in 1954 the Sovereign granted the title The Duke of Lynn for Prince Edward. When he ascended the Throne in August 1978 he become HM The King.
