The Duchy of Dellfolk (/ˈdutchy of dellfolk/ ˈdʌʧi ʌv dɛlfoʊk) is the largest and oldest subdivision of the Norfolk Empire. It is surrounded by the American State of Florida.

The Duchy of Dellfolk is close to Hillsborough County, Florida near Tampa Bay. The Duchy of Dellfolk is a Semi-parliamentary monarchy, under the Norfolk Empire, with HRH Duke Roger Bluetoski I and HRH Duchess Jonelle Bluetoski I as the head of government and state. The population of the District of New Tenochtitlan is currently only two and the largest and only city is New Brookeside. The Duchy of Dellfolk has one official language English.

Etymology

The word "Dellfolk" came from the last words of the name of the Norfolk Empire and the name of the old territory that was the Duchy of Dellfolk, the Territory of New Dell. The word also roughly means the people of a wench, a young girl of the vagrant class.[1][2]

History

Past Occupation

Before the Norfolk Empire declared independence from the United States of America, the Duchy of Dellfolk had been a part of the Republic of Tamcoop as the Province of Grandland and part of the Kingdom of Paxland as the Territory of New Dell.

Foundation

On 25 June 2019, the Royal Family of the Norfolk Empire officially declared independence from the United States of America. They sent the Declaration of Independence to the President of the United States of America, the Secretary of State of the United States of America, the Governor of Florida, the Governor of North Carolina, the Representative for Florida’s 15th Congressional District, the Representative for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the Representative for Florida’s 13th Congressional District, and the Pinellas County Administrator. After the multiple declarations of independence were sent to each of those individuals, the Royal Family of the Norfolk Empire signed the thirty article-long constitution of the Norfolk Empire. This constitution is currently being kept by HRH Prince Cooper Norfolk I in an undisclosed location so that the constitution will not be damaged.

Settlements

The Duchy of Dellfolk is comprised of separate pieces of land, but they are considered to be part of the same city, the City of New Brookeside.

Culture

General Culture

French Culture and American Culture has a large effect on the Duchy of Dellfolk. Some citizens enjoy watching Golf and listening to Golden Oldies.

Citizens enjoy listening to Too Many Zooz and Michael Bublé. The food Lasagna is also very popular among citizens.

Religion

The Duchy of Dellfolk does not have an official religion that is recognized by the government, but 100% of the citizens are members of Christianity, 50% Methodiest and 50% Baptist.

Article Eight of the Constitution of the Norfolk Empire states that the “Parliament, the Prime Minister, or the Royal Family shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.” This article allows any citizen of the DiDuchy of Dellfolk to have the freedom of religion.

Economy

The Duchy of Dellfolk grows Pineapples, Carrots, and Squash, none of which have ever been distributed.
