The Republic of Newtonia, more commonly known as Newtonia, is a micronation in Thailand, It is not exactly in Thailand, but rather in Discord. Prime Minister Nirin Talubnak declared independence from Thailand on March 20, 2023.

The Republic of Newtonia is a democratic nation on paper, but it's a dictatorship, like Molossia.

The Republic of Newtonia has yet contacted any Micronations, but considered itself as one of the Movement.

Etymology

The name came from the PM's nickname "Newton" combined with the word "ia" which is common in nations.

History

The PM got the idea of forming a micronation from Molossia. and so on March 20, 2023, The discord server of The Republic of Newtonia has been formed.

Politics and government

The government has 3 parts, The parliament, the main government, the army, The protectors of the server, and civil servents, which is the police.

The PM can do anything in the server, enough said.

{Legislature}

The Upper Par is the actual Parliament, and The lower Par is basically the discussion room of commanders.

Law and order

The ministry of law has issued 4 laws in use in the discord server. 1. No Spamming 2.Be respectful to citizens 3.Do not spam @Police (pinging Police Officers) 4. Do what higher ranking citizens say if it does not violate the Discord ToS

Military

The Military of Newtonia is the force that will kick raiders out of the discord servers.
