Use this guide with common sense and read it thoroughly; your article should be based on this guide but should not copy it verbatim. Source editing is greatly preferred over Visual Editing, as Visual Editor adds unnecessary elements to pages. Editing this guide in source will also help you familiarize yourself with wikitext and will allow you to see important technical functions that visual editor will omit.

  • Anything surrounded by <nowiki></nowiki> will force the software to display plain text. Remove it wherever it appears in this guide.
  • Parts of this guide intended to be filled in with your own info will be encased in single curly brackets: {example}
  • Text surrounded by <!-- and --> is a comment. These will tell the software to not include the enclosed content on the page entirely, and are present to help you as you're editing the page in source. Remove it after you have completed filling in the infobox and adding categories.

The Republic of Example, more commonly known as Example, is a micronation in {region}... The first paragraph should contain relevant information about location, significant subdivisions, and a brief history.

The second paragraph should give a brief overview of the nation's politics and governance.

The third paragraph should give an overview of the nation's relation to the broader micronational movement and the nation's foreign policy.

Etymology

Insert information about the origins of the name of the micronation.

The name of this nation: Acadia has to do with the people who used to live in this area before being displaced by the British and Americans, and sent to Louisiana.

History

Insert a decently detailed but not overly long history of the micronation.

   After King Kaden Mathieu of Acadia felt that Acadian had been mistreated for centuries, he decided to take things into his own hands by declaring independence from the USA, he did this by launching a small invasion into US territory after no resistance was shown, he declared the Aroostook County, Maine fully incorporated into Acadia.

Politics and government

Insert a brief description of your nation's government, its parts, and their functions.

Early government

If your nation had any previous systems of government, explain them here, otherwise, you do not need this section.

{Head of state}

Explain the powers and abilities of the head of state of your nation in this section. Title this section after the position, not including "The."

  Acadia's leader has full control over all Acadian territory, and all revolutions shall be brutally suppressed.

{Head of government}

Explain the powers and abilities of your nation's head of government. Title it after the head of government, such as anyone second in command to the head of state. Again, no need to include "The."

Kaden Mathieu is first in command, and the people are second in command, all land that buildings are not located on is public domain.

{Legislature}

If your nation has a legislative branch, explain its function and structure here, titling the section with the name of the legislative body.

Use ====Level 4 headings==== for the upper and lower houses or chambers.

Political parties

Explain the background or history of the political parties in the state, and any guidelines or regulations regarding them. For the table, you can add or remove as many columns for the number of seats as needed. It is advised that you sample the colors for the table from the party logo.

Logo Name Party Leader Spectrum Ideologies Lower House Upper House Cabinet
Example Party EXM

0 / 10
0 / 5

Law and order

Insert information about the nation's judicial system and/or law enforcement.

   Basically has the same laws as the state of Maine, but everyone can hunt a moose once every 4 years.

Military

Insert brief information about the structure of the nation's military, its branches, the weaponry used, and notable conflicts the nation was involved in.

   Branches:

Stealth (infantry armed with melee weapons) Basic Infantry (infantry armed with standard bolt action rifles) High Infantry (infantry armed with Auto or Semi-Auto rifles) Guerrilla (no need to explain) Mechanized Infantry (pickup trucks that are filled with a total of 11 people [1 driver, 2 in front passenger seats, 3 in back passenger seats, and 5 in tailgate)

   Military Weapons:

Rifles: 30-30, 243, 30-06, AR15, and AK47. Handguns: 22. Magnum Revolver Hand Weapons: Knives, Spears, and Swords.

   The Great Acadian Squirrel War (5 casualties [all squirrels]), Acadian Civil War (one POW captured, escaped 3 times before the Republic's forces surrendered [the Republic's leader has yet to sign a treaty to officially end the war}), Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (at war with Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran), and the Russo-Ukrainian War (at War with the Russian Federation)

Ministries

If your nation has ministries managing certain fields, explain them here under ==== Level 4 headings.==== Some information to include might be the powers that the ministry has, the history of ministries in the nation, etc. For example:

Ministry of Example

The ministry of example is responsible for {task} and {task} in the Example Republic. It was established on 20 April 2022 under the Ministry Act to manage [certain aspect of the nation].

   The People's Kingdom of Acadia is obviously a Communist Kingdom ruled by Kaden Joseph Mathieu, (Kaden Mathieu is the sole leader of every part of the government)

Foreign relations

Provide a general overview of the nation's foreign policy and its involvement in sectors, organizations, etc.

Provided below is an example of a list of relations with other nations and organizations. For more information on flag icons, see {{flag}}, {{flaglist}} {{flagicon}}, and {{flagicon image}}.

Administrative regions

Explain your nation's claim system, and the various types of constituencies your nation may have, for example, the difference between a district and a territory. It is preferred that you do not discuss each constituency in this section. Instead, the names of each constituency in the table should be linked to their own separate articles. You can add and remove columns as you wish, but generally, include fields for the flags (which should be kept small, at most 100px wide (less if more rows listed) and have a border), name, and important fields such as area, population, governor and/or representative (or equivalent position). You do not need to include a column for a seal, flag, or coat of arms for each constituency if it they do not have one.

   On Friday, September 6th, 2024, the Acadian Workers Army (consisting of 1 person) under the leadership of the King of Acadia; Kaden J Mathieu invaded US-controlled areas surrounding the property of which most of the army's weapons were located, in a matter of about ten minutes, 5,698 square yards of American territory was captured without any resistance, allowing a buffer zone to exist between the Acadian Military Base No. 01 and the American territory, the next day, September 7th, the army expanded the occupation zone by 607 square yards. After the creation of a buffer zone, the King of Acadia created several lines of defences; the Antichar line (which has since been destroyed): a line designed to prevent vehicles from invading the Acadian stronghold, the Maladroit Line(which has since been damaged after a vehicle drove over it): a wall of rocks about 1 foot high 3 feet wide on each side of the driveway leading to the Acadian stronghold, and the Défense des fossés: a wall of stones placed in a ditch as an attempt to keep one person guarding the stronghold from behind the wall. after partially constructing the Défense des fossés, the King returned to his family's camp to eat lunch.
   On October 3rd, 2024 the Acadian Military launched an invasion into Canada, after no resistance, we declared NB, NV, and PEI as part of Acadia.
   We are currently creating a military volunteer sheet for people in the area to sign up for the military and help secure independence for Acadia, our current arsenal of handheld weaponery consists of 11 "Sword-Spears", 3 swords, and 12 spears.
