The Kingdom of Swisazia, more commonly known as Swisazia, is a micronation occupying the territory of Bir Tawil. Swisazia was founded on Thirtieth day of August, 2021. The nation claims its sovereignty and legitimacy using its occupancy of Terra nullius and the declarative theory of statehood as defined by the Montevideo Convention. The nation is currently an absolute Diarchy, ruled by its two kings, King Simon I and King Emmanuel I. The nation is currently seeking recognition from other micronations and Macronations, as well as getting more citizens.

History

On the 30th of August, 2021, a man who would soon become king, founder Simon, would establish the Tsardom of Swisazia. Shortly after, his friend and fellow micronationalist, Emmanuel, joined the young Tsardom. Over its first few years of establishment, Swisazia would undergo a lot of fluctuation in anthems, territorial claims, flags, and ideology. In late 2021, Swisazia would enter an agreement with Trashtopia, creating a military and trade alliance with the two nations. Swisazia would formerly change from a Tsardom to a Kingdom within days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine to distance itself from Russia. In late 2024, the two kings declared Bir Tawil as their territorial claim once and for all, marking an end to their age of fluctuation.

Politics and government

The government of Swisazia is described as an absolute diarchy, or dual-monarchy. Having only two people, this was the only choice for governance. They have complete control over every aspect of the country, though once a sufficient population size is established, the Kings of Swisazia plan to implement an independent legislative body, becoming a constitutional diarchy.

Heads of state

Many nations across the world have only one head of the country. Others have a head of state and a head of government. However, similar to the systems of Sparta and San Marino, Swisazia has two heads of state. These heads of state are King Simon and King Emmanuel I Luke. They come from the houses of Williamsbourg and Kuhnigsbourg respectively.

Military

The Swisazian Armed Forces The military of Swisazia is currently very lacking, and has been for some time. The military of Swisazia has several branches, being the army, navy, marines, air force, space program, Cyber Corps, and royal guard. However, the only functional branch is the air force, which only has a single drone. The only members of the military are the two kings, Emmanuel and Simon, as commander and chiefs.

Political Parties

Although Swisazia doesn't yet have a substantial enough population for political parties to form. However, it should be noted that any political parties that are or endorse, any extremist faction, extreme activism, or furries, are outright banned from participating in elections. Currently, the only party that exists within the nation,is the monarchist party, a party that supports the dual-monarchy, and acts as an umbrella party for political moderates.

Foreign relations

The foreign relations of Swisazia used to be quite little, however Swisazia has branched out as of late. Swisazia is recognized by four nations, being Trashtopia, Molossia, Radonia, and Salanda, as well as any nation that is a member state of the Alliance of the Micronations (AOTM). Swisazia currently has a trade and military alliance with Trashtopia. Swisazia has embassies in three countries, being Trashtopia, the United States of America, amd Salanda. It has also had a representative as the Chairperson of the AOTM. Swisazia's foreign policy is characterized by reaching out for strong relations with other micronations, promoting itself as a sovereign state, and promoting international peace.

Administrative regions

The Kingdom of Swisazia claims five territories. Those claims are over Bir Tawil, Enclava(pocket 1), Velinton(pocket 2), and Danuvgrad(pocket 4). All of these claims are territories waiting to become provinces. Any land Swisazia claims is a territory until it reaches a one thousand population count. Territories have 50% less taxes than provinces, but receive no representation in the government.

Climate

The climate of Swisazia generally has a continental climate. However, Swisazia’s regions are prone to constant floods due to their extremely close proximity to the Danube and their low elevation.

Economy

The economy of Swisazia is not fully established. However, they do have one. For now, Swisazia has a GDP of 0 USD. The currency of the kingdom is the Swisazian Mark, which is worth 0.068 USD as of January, 2024. Swisazia exports water and soil through the Danube and art pieces. Currently, Swisazia has a GDP of 0 USD.
