The Kingdom of Reocín, more commonly known as Reocín, is a micronation inside of Spain. It gained it's independence the 21 June 2024 after it's King, Cristian I de San Miguel declared unilaterally the independence of the region of Reocin.

Kingdom of Reocín is a parliamentary monarchy, with the President being the head of the government and the King the head of the state. The presidential term lasts 6 months, and every citizen from the country has the endeavour to vote for it's representant. The King functions are limited to diplomacy and representation in the foreign of the nation.

History

The 21 June 2024, Cristian de San Miguel declared unilaterally the independence of the territory of Reocin, ubicated in Cantabria.

Politics and government

The King is the main power in the nation, being the head of state. His powers are limited to diplomacy and representation of the state in the foreign. The President is the executive power representant. The President of the Congress is the legislative power representant. The President of the General Justice Council is the judicial power representant. All three are supervised by the king.

Head of state

King Cristian I of San Miguel is the head of state. It's powers are severly limited, but he can intervene in diplomacy and representation.

Head of government

President of executive power.

Legislature

President of legislative power. It's funcions are to pass or veto laws that are discussed in the parliament.

The geography of reocin is surrounded by mountains and a trees, which caracterizes the terrain as unique because of it's green areas and natural life. The northern part of Spain is often visited by millions of tourists because of it's green areas and natural wildlife.
