The Kingdom of Drite, more commonly known as Drite, is a micronation in the UK it's monarch is Valero 1st and it's prime minister is Sikar Hari of the Daimond Party. Drite declared its independency on the 15th of May 2024. It has four provinces Bunkburg,Sheld,Kelar and Wildan. The country's flag is light blue on the top orange on the bottom and a sun in the middle.
The kingdom of Drite is officialy a constitutional monarchy and a parliamentry democracy with the king as head of state and the prime minister as the head of government .
Etymology
Within the Albanian language Drite means light.
History
On May 15th 2024 Valero 1st having seen heard and known about micronations for a few years now, decided to create a micronation with his friends thus on the 15th of May 2024 Drite declared its independence. The first few days were a little chaotic for the new nation however the first elections took place and the Diamond party won but there wasn't a parliament yet.
The first parliament
In September 2024 the first proper elections with a new parliament took place with 7 seats. The Diamond Party under Sikar Hari won taking 4 seats the Luxembourg Party under Helar ashki took the remaining 3 seats currently Drite has an uncodified constitution but is working towards a written one.
The October Decision
On October 21st 2024 King Valero decided that he wanted to get more involved in the nation's politics due to the country becoming more inactive thus he decided to abolish the monarchy and turn the nation into a republic.
The November election
On November 8th 2024 the election for the president of Drite began. All 21 citizens went out to vote in the end it was a tie between the Drite Unity Party [DUP] and the Drite Nationalist Party [DNP] a coalition government has formed between the DUP and the DNP.
Politics and government
The kingdom of Drite is a constitutional monarchy and a parliamentary democracy it's parliament is unicameral. The monarch is the head of state being the main representative and unifying figure of the nation. When a law is passed through parliament the monarch meets with the council of ministers (who are mp's chosen by the monarch directly) who vote on the law thus either it gets rejected or it gets passed. The prime Minister is the head of government and is chosen if they got the popular vote. Their job is to run the day to day affairs of the nation. Drite uses a proportional representation system to elect mp's.
Early government
In the first few days of its existence Drite was technically an absolute monarchy until the first elections took place and was a constitutional monarchy until November 10th when it became a unitary parliamentary republic.
President
The President is the official head of state within the republic of Drite they are the representative of the nation and the country's unifying figure. After an election the President appoints mp's to ministerial positions and talks with the council of ministers about a law that parliament proposed and they decide whether to pass or reject it. The current President is Valero Adviri.
Prime Minister
The prime minister is the official head of government within the republic of Drite their job is to manage the day to day affairs of the nation. They are officially on the council of ministers and they can like any normal mp propose and vote on laws. The current PM is Chero Zelk.
Legislature
The legislature for the republic of Drite is parliament. Mp's are elected via a proportional representation system and party leaders get to choose who will become an mp. Mp's can vote and propose laws in parliament and can be chosen by the president to become ministers.

Political parties have existed since Drite's first elections the parties that currently exist are the Diamond Party and the Luxembourg Party.

Law and order
The judicial system in Drite is the defendant and prosecutor have a chance to state their stance to a jury made up of 5 people who decide whether the defendant is guilty or not guilty of their crime. The judge will then decide the defendant's punishment if they are found guilty. Drite is working on having a national police force.
Military
The kingdom of Drite has two branches of it's military the National Republican Army NRA for short and the National Republican Air Force NRAF for short. There are currently 3 people in the NRA the monarch and the minister of defence. For the NRAF there are 2 people in it due to paper planes being used in it. Nerf guns are part of the NRA's stockpile but aren't used as the country hasn't had a war yet.
Ministries
The kingdom of Drite has four ministries these are the ministry of economics,the ministry of defence,the ministry of education and media and the ministry of law and justice. Each ministry has a minister who is an mp and who is chosen by the president to be a minister.
Ministry of Economics
The ministry of economics is responsible for managing the economy and stopping the country from either going into large debt or having lots of inflation in the kingdom of Drite. It was established on 20 May 2024 after the first election took place. The current minister of Economics is Reha Navi of the Diamond Party.
Ministry of Defence
The ministry of Defence is responsible for the nations defence it's job is to defend the nation during times of war. It was established on 22 May 2024. The current minister of Defence is Aveco Felki of the Luxembourg Party.
Ministry of Education and Media
The ministry of education and media is in charge of making sure that citizens are well educated and that all types of media content follow state standards and rules. It was formed on 21 May 2024. The current minister is Helar Ashki the leader of the Luxembourg Party.
Minister of Law and Justice
The ministry of law and justice is in charge of maintaining law and order throughout the nation and to make sure that everyone has the right to a free trial. It was established on the 23 May 2024. The current minister is Chero Zelk.

Geography and climate
Drite's climate is that generally during the summer months it is quite hot and dry but during the winter months it is quite cold and wet. The kingdom is very flat.
Economy
Whilst Drite doesn't have any industries Valero 1st is trying to encourage citizens to create companies specifically newspapers. The countries main imports are food and water however it dose not have ant exports.
Culture
The kingdom of Drite is a melting pot of different cultures with people from India,Kosovo,the uk and bulgaria there isn't really any media in the country however Valero 1st is planning to create a state newspaper and encourage others to make their own newspapers. There isn't any TV however there is a in person talk show called The Royal Talk Show that also dose interviews and debates between politicians especially during election season.
