The Kingdom of Domentad (DOM: Доментади Крайшаг HUN: Domentád Királyság), more commonly known as Domentad, is a micronation, bordered by Hungary, founded at the 24th of October, 2022.

Etymology

The nation's name was originally Dobentad, origining from former Domentadi capital Dob, and Domentadi word ентад (entad), which means land. Domentad got its new name during the construction of the first Domentadi Dictionary.

History

Historics say the first ancestors of the Domentadis arrived to the Carpathian basin and Hungary during the 1241 Tatar invasion. Most of the Domentadi minorities has assimilated, and, apart from a small independence movement in 1916 (Dob protests), the Domentadi people lived peacefully in Hungary. After the Trianon treaty of 1920, hundreds of Domentadis emigrated from the new Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia to Hungary. In 2018, by the foundation and later, the dissolution of the Tsardom of Hungaroslavia, Domentadi separatist movements rised. These separatists were led by Valent Ladisla, who, in the January of 2022, declared the constructions on the constitution of a new Domentad. That year, at the 24th of October, Valent Ladisla declared the independence of the Kingdom of Domentad. At the 25th of October, Valent Ladisla, with a new name, King Valent I., was proclaimed as King.

Domentad is a constitutional monarchy. The current monarch is His Royal Highness, Monarch of the Domentadis, King Valent the First (DOM: Роялов Фалеч, Литероги Доментади, Кралй Алеч Валент, HUN: Ő Királyi Felsége, Domentádiak Uralkodója, Első Valent Király).
