This article is about the history of domestic affairs of the Republic of Ultamiya. For a history of foreign affairs, see Diplomacy of the Republic of Ultamiya.

The Domestic Affairs of the Republic of Ultamiya were the internal actions of the Republic of Ultamiya. Nearly all of Ultamiya's domestic affairs were conducted by its President, David.

The following lists are as accurate as can be remembered or recorded.

2010

March

27th:

  • 8:16 AM: Ultamiya is founded.
  • ~8:20 AM: The first Ultamian paper flag is hung at John's Square in the Capital District.
  • ~7:00 PM: The first American guests, a few relatives of the Presidential family, arrive at the Government House.
  • ~7:30 PM: The President records on camera the melody of Ultamiya, The Greatest Land for the first time.

28th:

  • The website is made.
  • Cleaning Project: The President picks up litter and stray items in the Capital District.
  • Afternoon: A rain shower tears down the first Ultamian flag.

29th:

  • A little known proposal is drawn by the President to paint two poles in the Capital District, one yellow and one light blue. The proposal never came up again.

April

1st:

  • ~10:30 AM: The Air and Space Ministry conducts its first ever test.

3rd:

  • 11:30 AM: A small skirmish between Ultamiya and Stravasalter during their war takes place at Fort Manhalia, then an Ultamian-controlled American structure, between the President and a toddler, who was rumored to be related with Stravasalter.
  • ~12:30 PM: The Stravasite toddler leaves the park in retreat.

Unknown:

  • Two K'nex windmills are hung at John's Square. They were used for decoration only and had no real effect.

6th:

  • An overnight thunderstorm destroys the second Ultamian flag.
  • Afternoon: The flag is retaped.

8th:

  • 7:00 AM: The flag is reinforced with duct tape in order to prevent the coming rain from tearing it off again.
  • Afternoon: The flagpole falls off its post after combined stress from the weakened grip of the tape and the weight of the flag above.

Unknown:

  • The first Ultamian flag at the embassy in San Diego is destroyed by rainfall.
  • The first Ultamian flagpole at John's Square breaks under additional stress. It and the second flag are removed from the square.

20th:

  • ~10:00 PM: The President tapes temporary blanks of the 1, 5, and 10 Katane onto three poker chips.

21st:

  • The second flag at the San Diego embassy survives a heavy rainfall under a laminate cover.

22nd:

  • ~7:00 PM: 72 coins of the 1, 5, and 10 Katane denominations are glued onto poker chips, inaugurating the currency.

23rd:

  • ~8:00 AM: The coins dry and are stored in the treasury after being pulled apart due to their glue sitting.

28th:

  • Talks begin for the creation of an improved Ultamian flag made out of fabric. By this time, John's Square has been without a flag for almost two weeks. Unfortunately, the creation of the fabric flag had to be postponed due to other matters.

May

8th:

  • The fabric flag is ironed.

10th:

  • Completion of the fabric flag is postponed again because of an upcoming visit to Washington D.C.

11th:

  • The anthem is changed to fit the National Anthem of Slovakia due to the original's words being lost and its lack of orchestral sound.

16th:

  • 12:10 AM: The President returns to the Capital District from Washington, D.C.
  • 12:30 AM: The Consitution is written.
  • ~4:30 PM: The fabric flag is hung at John's Square.

21st:

  • The first bill of the Katane, the 20, is created.

29th:

  • The President declares Ukraine from Hetalia: Axis Powers a saint.
  • The 20 Katane is minted.
  • The 50 Katane is created.
  • Ultamiya reaches 30 citizens.

June

7th:

  • The 50 Katane is minted.
  • The 100 Katane is created.

16th:

  • The 100 Katane is minted.
  • The 500 Katane is created.

20th:

  • Ultamiya claims the territory of Shimate as a dual-protectorate.

21st:

  • The Capital District is renamed Ultima.

23rd:

  • The 500 Katane is minted.

28th:

  • The fabric flag is taken down for the first time.

29th:

  • The fabric flag is restored using Sharpie markers and rehung.

July

18th:

  • Ultamiya reaches 40 citizens.

August

4th:

19th:

  • Ultamiya reaches 50 citizens.

September

4th:

  • A proposal surfaces to give Ultamiya a legislative council.

5th:

  • The Ultamian Legislative Council is born.

16th:

  • The Arcade Trainer Forum, host of the ULC, unexpectedly collapses.

18th:

  • Matteo Catania is appointed as the only Governing Host of the Council.

21st:

  • The President declares Shirley Fenette from Code Geass a saint.

October

1st:

  • ~8:00 PM: Airsoft is banned in the Capital District and nearly outlawed within Shimate.

12th:

  • The ULC approves a 73-second section of the Light Cavalry Overture as Ultamiya's military march.

November

4th:

  • 4:58 PM: Debut of Ultamiya's Promotional Video.

18th:

  • The ULC is dissolved due to inactivity.
  • Ultamiya reaches 60 citizens.

December

22nd:

  • 4:53 PM: The President publishes a report on the four goals the Republic should accomplish by National Day. By the end of February, the three deemed most important will be complete.

25th:

  • ~8:30 AM: Debut of the Barrel Break IX-2 and the Spectre REV-5 into the Ultamian Nerf arsenal.

2011

January

9th:

  • The 50 Taneda is created and minted.

10th:

  • The 25 Taneda is created and minted.

11th:

  • The 10 Taneda is created and minted.

30th:

  • A camcorder, used to record old movies and pictures of Ultamiya, is finally linked to the computer, its contents available for use by the President on Youtube and Ultamiya News.

February

13th:

  • Debut of the Series 2011 Katane billswith the creation and minting of the 10 Katane bill, which was converted from coin form.

14th:

  • ~4:30 PM: The President fires off a ring of caps in celebration of the end of the Pimpville War.
  • Creation and minting of the 2011 20 Katane bill.

15th:

  • Creation and minting of the 2011 50 and 100 Katane bills.

16th:

  • Creation and minting of the 2011 500 and 5 Katane bills.

17th:

  • Creation and minting of the 2011 1 Katane bill.

22nd:

  • Building of Fort Katyusha in the Capital District.

23rd:

  • The Katyusha Wall begins construction.

24th:

  • Completion of the Katyusha System.

March

2nd:

  • 9:00 PM: The anthem is changed again to Long Live Ultamiya, set to the tune of God Save the Tsar.

10th:

  • ~4:00 PM: The fabric flag is ripped in two by a combination of wind, rain, and old age. It is taped back together the next day and rehung.

12th:

  • A series of Nerf ranged and melee training exercises occurs in the Capital District, coinciding with Lordship Day celebrations.

22nd:

  • A nationwide survey is conducted, which measured the highest and lowest points in Ultamiya. Pictures of all three districts were taken, though Shimate more than others.

27th:

  • 10:00 AM: The President heads National Day ceremonies at John's Square, firing off 6 caps and 6 Nerf darts after playing the anthem and making a long speech.

April

3rd:

  • 12:00 AM: Ultamiya Fishery, a Runescape-based fishing corporation run by the President, is founded.

5th:

  • ~4:00 PM: The fabric flag collapses again and is finally retired after 325 days in service.

16th:

  • Ultamiya Fishery becomes inactive due to dropping lobster and shark prices, however the game on which it is run continues operation within the Republic.

May

4th:

  • Ultamiya reaches 70 citizens.

14th:

  • 8:00 PM: The President begins writing a third constitution. He finishes about three hours later.

16th:

  • ~4:30 PM: The third constitution officially enters operation, having been ratified by six citizens.
  • ~5:45 PM: Beginning of the First Battle of the Field, which lasts until about 6:30.

17th:

  • Matthew Fossick is named as Vice President of the Republic.

20th:

June

16th:

  • ~2:00 PM: The District of Minaka, Ultamiya's territorial claim on the game Minecraft, is founded and territorially designated with the help of neighboring territory governor Brayden Yates and Bradley of Dullahan.

21st:

  • The first Airsoft weapons, owned by the two generals enlisted in May, are commissioned.

July

16th:

  • ~6:00 PM: Commission and testing of the M555AF, the first Airsoft weapon in the federal arsenal at Ultima, at Fort Manhalia Military District.

August

6th:

  • 11:30 PM: A quick census with up-to-date micronational statuses revealed that the citizen count was at 79.

10th:

  • Ultamiya reaches 80 citizens.

19th:

  • ~8:30 PM: Secondary testing for the M555AF begins at the Capital District.

  • ~9:30 AM: The Nitron, Stinger P36, and Stinger R39 are commissioned.

2012

21st:

  • ~5:30 PM: The 2012 Air Force Act is signed, establishing the Aerial Forces of the Ultamian Republic.

  • ~6:00 PM: The 1000 Katane is created and minted.
  • 11:45 PM: The President announces that the 1000 Katane will be used for bank transactions only.

March

2nd:

  • A second fabric flag is produced but never hung.

26th:

  • ~6:00 PM: Another fabric flag is produced, sewed, and hung on the flagpole at John's Square.

27th:

  • 4:00 PM: The national anthem in celebration of Ultamiya's second anniversary fails to be played due to battery problems.

30th:

  • ~7:00 PM: Michrenia becomes Ultamiya's fourth district with Mikaila as viceroy.

June

1st:

  • ~8:00 PM: Two Ultamian citizens graduate from Steel Valley High School.

4th:

  • ~12:00 PM: The city of New Sakura is founded on a new Wyvern Minecraft server.

16th:

  • ~2:00 PM: New Sakura is declared the new capital of Minaka following a return trip to the original cities.

17th:

  • ~1:00 AM: The city of Nosabaku is founded north of New Sakura.

3rd:

  • ~12:00 PM: The flagpole at John's Square cracks due to a thunderstorm.

30th:

  • Operation Gold is officially inaugurated.

  • 2:15 PM: The Closer Together project is revealed.

  • ~6:00 PM: The first expedition to Fort Manhalia under the Closer Together project is undertaken.

18th:

  • Operation Gold finishes.

  • ~9:00 AM: The Lumitron and Pyragon are commissioned.
  • ~12:00 PM: The Rampage is commissioned.

2013

January

11th:

  • The Series 2013 Katane is announced.

18th:

  • The 2013 Online Citizen Act is signed, transferring Ultamiya News to the WordPress format and removing all online citizenry for re-registration.

February

22nd:

  • A treaty between Vice President Mikaila and local owners of a fort, called by the Vice President Treetania, transfers administration of the fort to Ultamiya.

24th:

  • ~1:00 PM: Fort Treetania is officially claimed as a military outpost by the Ultamian Army of the Republic.
  • Creation and minting of the 2013 5 and 10 Katane bills.

25th:

  • Creation and minting of the 2013 1 and 20 Katane bills.

March

1st:

  • Creation and minting of the 2013 50 and 100 Katane bills.

3rd:

  • Creation and minting of the 2013 500 and 1000 Katane bills.

12th:

  • The Retaliator is commissioned.

15th:

  • The President announces the country's dissolution on the 27th.

27th:

  • 8:16 AM: Ultamiya is dissolved.
