The dissolution of the Arian Republic occurred on Nov. 30, 2003. It marked not only the end of the Arian Republic, which had replaced the Second Arian Empire in August 2003, but the end of the Arian state as a whole.

The dissolution was sparked when President Cory Hohen abruptly resigned his office on the evening of Nov. 29. Following a brief period of uncertainty in which the abolition of the presidency and reestablishment of a powerful monarchy was considered, Czar Powell was persuaded to abdicate. When he did, after freeing Aria's nine provinces, Aria ceased to exist.

Aria's end marked the termination of verifiable political activity within the Maryland civilization.
