Danian English (formerly known as Danlandic English prior to 2013) is the variety of English spoken in the micronation of Dania. It is modeled on British English.


Grammar

  • Danlandic English uses the British spelling of words like colour, centre and defence.
  • Danlandic uses the British pronunciation of Z (zed) and not the American pronunciation (zee).
  • Both -ise and -ize are used.
