The constitution of the People's Republic of Linian.
ARTICLE I - TREATMENT OF CITIZENS
All citizens must be treated equally, regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender, or religion.
ARTICLE II - THE CHURCH AND THE COMMUNITY
The Church and Community shall be completely separated. The clergy of every denomination shall be paid only by the voluntary contributions of their congregations. Citizens are free to follow any faith they wish, and places of worship may only be constructed via donations.
ARTICLE III - MEDIA
The use of lies in the media is banned. All information presented must be facts. Unconfirmed details of news events and opinions on these news events will not be stated in the media until they are confirmed by a reliable source. The use of lies, opinions, theories, and unconfirmed reports is also banned in any propaganda. Only the truth will be presented in anything produced by the government or a government supported group.
ARTICLE IV - BASIC HUMAN NEEDS
ARTICLE IV/A - EDUCATION
Charging money or goods for education is banned. Education is a basic right of the people and will be provided by the state to any who request it.
ARTICLE IV/B - HEALTHCARE
Charging money or goods for healthcare is banned. Healthcare is a basic right of the people and will be provided by the state to any who request it.
ARTICLE V - INDUSTRY
Large scale private industry and agriculture are banned. Family farms that provide for the family that operates the farm and at most 10 other people are allowed, but anything larger is banned from private use, large scale farms will be the property of the people. Factories, mines, power plants, and other larger scale industry will also be state ran to provide to the people, as they are the property of the people.
ARTICLE VI - SCIENCE AND RESEARCH
No government official can deny a citizens right to independent scientific research unless that research has been used to cause harm to people or infrastructure.
ARTICLE VII - POLITICAL FREEDOM
The government may not restrict any citizens from creating political parties, the only way a citizen may have their right to create a political party is by a democratic vote or if the party obviously praises fascism, nazism, monarchism or any other thought relating to these. The government may not restrict any citizens from democratically running for a government position, while not representing a party. Citizens (and non-citizens staying in the PRL) that are fighting against socialism in general, spy, discriminate others or praise fascism and/or monarchism may be arrested and rehabilitated.
ARTICLE VIII - CRITICAL THINKING
Every citizen may criticise the government and governmental institutions, politics, the military institutions (including the People's Gendarmerie) and every subject of the government of the PRL.
ARTICLE IX - WOMEN
Women are accorded equal social status and rights with men. The State shall afford special protection to mothers and children by providing maternity leave, reduced working hours for mothers with several children, a wide network of maternity hospitals, creches and kindergartens, and other measures. The State shall provide all conditions for women to play their full roles in society.
ARTICLE X - ASYLUM
The People's Republic of Linian shall grant the right of asylum to foreign nationals persecuted for struggling for peace and democracy, national independence and socialism or for the freedom of scientific and cultural pursuits.
EXTRA ARTICLE I - DEATH PENALTY
Regardless of what crime has been committed, the death penalty must never be used for penalty.
EXTRA ARTICLE II - SERVICES
Service enterprises may exist under certain conditions and regulations.
E.A. II/A - CONDITIONS
The conditions, which a service enterprise has to operate in, are chosen by the responsible offices on the day the enterprise is registered.
E.A. II/B - REGISTRATION
A service enterprise can be registered at the Commission for Enterprise Management, Interior Ministry. A non-registered enterprise will be punished with up to 50.000 Rín or a banishment of the person responsible.
E.A. II/C - REGULATIONS
A service enterprise may be regulated by the C.E.M. on the day of registration.
SPECIAL ARTICLE I - Flag, Emblem, Symbols, Anthem and Capital of the PRL
SA I/A - FLAG
The official flag of the PRL is red, with a light blue stripe at the right half of the fly. The canton bears one bigger, golden star, with one smaller golden star at the upper left edge.
SA I/B - EMBLEM
The official emblem of the PRL bears the hammer and sickle as symbol of the workers, as well as the Lotus that contains the Two Star symbol.
SA I/C - ANTHEM
The official anthems of the PRL are the "Song of Advance" and "I carry a flag!".
SA I/D - CAPITAL
The capital of the PRL is Nabú (Nabuu, Sankt Johann).
