The Socialist Republic of Lakosha, more commonly known as Lakosha, is a micronation in New England. Is a new Micronation which beliefs in the vision Karl Marx set out to create. We wish to create a truly socialist society where everyone is equal and anyone from anywhere can live freely! Our main plan is to secede from the USA but if that fails we plan on seasteading.
The government controls the economy to ensure that the workers get their rights and also to ensure that pricing is fair.
Lakosha wants to stop hate speech and make the world a better place by helping the environment and giving people from third world country’s and refugees another chance.
Etymology
The name Lakosha was made by the founder == History
The Nation was founded on September 30, 2020 however two days prior to an election began and the idea was that whoever wins would be able to name the nation, pick the flag and decide the ideology. In those two days before we officially formed into what we are today Radical Kunists under the Kunist Party nearly won against the Patriotic Socialist Party led by Kazzi. luckily the Socialists pulled through and barely won the elections. The Kunists also made multiple attempts to undemocratically seize power before elections ended however those attempts were all silenced. Once Kazzi won the elections Lakosha was established.
Politics and government
Every 6 months a new President is elected. Small local government elections also occur in Provinces for the role of Governor. The Council works with the President to keep the President in check and also to vote on policies and law Changes. Citizens may also create or join any political party they wish to be apart of.
Law and order
The Judicial Team is in charge of rehabilitating criminals after they are convicted of a crime. The nations strongly believe rehabilitation is the answer rather the traditional ways of punishing a criminal.

Lakosha has a few allies. Some known allies include Sunseva and the Nexan Republic
Military
The Lakoshan Military is comprised of the Army, and Navy and multiple intelligence Agencies which are in charge of preventing foreign intervention and also attacks from happening.
Geography and climate
Lakosha is well known for its harsh winters and warm and vibrant summers. There are quite a few trees all around Lakosha with a pond within its borders. There are a few hills in Lakosha which are all surrounded by dense forests.
Economy
Lakoshas main export is Tomatoes and peppers And its main industry is the farming industry. However, we plan on expanding our economy by investing in stocks and also by starting businesses in other nations.
