Common Renewal (Easway)

The Common Renewal is a period within the history of Easway that began in June 2022. It covers a series of institutional reforms that began with the republican Transitional Movement and the national directives of the Administrative and Resource Maximisation plan (2022) and the Common Development plan (2023). Serving in reaction to rising global tensions and a struggling economy, the Common Renewal period, under the administrations of Grand Councillor Emizerri (2017-2023) and Grand Councillor Squ Bai (2023-present), have sought to streamline government, strengthen institutions, and make the economy and democratic involvement centre-stage.
