The State of Colne, commonly known as Colne is a micronation located in North America. It consists of 26 acres of possessed territory, 25 acres of mainland and 1 acre claimed on the Moon. The mainland territory of the State of Colne is bordered on all sides by the United States of America. The nation currently has a population of 4. The national capital is Atherton, its only established city.
Founded on 1/5/2022, the State of Colne is governed by an oligarchy which oversees a democratically elected parliament.

Geography
Mainland
The State of Colne resides in the Appalachian Mountains and sits a few miles from the Cumberland Gap. The maximum elevation of the region is about 1450 feet. The territory consists of 25 acres of land. Spring water, coal, and lumber are all abundant within this area. This area is administered by the Army of the State of Colne.
Moon Territory
In 2022, the State of Colne purchased 1 acre of land on the Moon from the Lunar Registry, located in the Sea of Vapors. This area is administered by the Air Force of the State of Colne.
Government
The Senate
All legislature produced in the State of Colne comes from the twelve person parliament, known as The Senate. The Senate convenes every month on the 1st, and brings forth new legislation. The Senate is overseen by the Prime Minister who represents The Senate to the Chancellor. The Chancellor only addresses The Senate once a year in a Christmas address to the nation which occurs in The Senate Chambers, or during times of emergency.
While The Senate bears all legislative power, the Chancellor may veto any legislation produced. The Senate cannot itself declare war, but can draft articles requesting the Chancellor do so.
Elections for senate positions are held on January 1 of every year, six days after the Chancellor's Christmas address on the 25th of December. Senators are elected by popular majority vote.
Only senators and the Prime Minister can be removed from office. Articles of impeachment can be drafted by The Senate, and in a vote of more than 60% for, the individual in question is removed from office. The Chancellor may also remove senators or the Prime Minister from office at will. In the event of an empty seat, the Chancellor may fill the vacancy until the next election.
Monarchy
While the Chancellor is also reigning monarch of the State of Colne, the title of monarch is purely ceremonial. The Chancellor may be referred to simply as 'the Chancellor', in formal occasions they may be referred to as His/Her Royal Highness, and should the Chancellor hold a military post they may also be referred to by that rank. Almost all actual political power and authority, is retained by the Senate.

The only political party currently registered in the State of Colne is the Monarchist Party. Its chairman is N. White. Currently, the Monarchist Party holds all seats of the Senate.

Citizenship
Birthright
Anyone born within the territory of the State of Colne is granted immediate citizenship. This type of citizenship may be revoked for severe crimes and or treason.
Naturalization
Anyone may submit a free citizenship application online. All naturalized citizens are granted equal political opportunities to that of natural born citizens.
Dual Citizenship
All citizens of the State of Colne are currently required to maintain dual citizenship.
Military
The Colne Armed Forces are all of the military forces of the State of Colne. The armed forces include an Army, Navy, and Air Force. The nations Chancellor serves as ceremonial commander-in-chief of all branches of the armed forces, yet may also serve within the military and or command a branch. Individual branches are overseen by a Field Marshall (Army & Air Force) or a Fleet Admiral (Navy). Command structures and authority of the branches can be found below.

Corps
In addition to the three main branches, each branch also maintains specialized corps. Each branch possesses its own special forces and intelligence gathering corps, these all fall under the Joint Special Forces Command (JSFC) and Joint Intelligence Command (JIC), which report directly to the Chancellor.
