History

Dekker as a micronational entity was originally founded in 2009 as the Co-Principality of Dekker. It became a member of the Domanglian Commonwealth in 2011, but left due to internal conflict. In 2012, Dekker joined the Fredomian Commonwealth, and after realizing the conflict of interest, departed. Dekker then aligned itself with Ultamiya, even joining the successor state Varina as a province. After falling into inactivity for a time, on 26 June 2015, Patrick-Dylan Knox offered Dekker to Austenasia. Dekker was annexed as a Crown Dependency of Austenasia on 16 July 2015 by the Dekker Act 2015.
