The Church of Albia is the state church of the Kingdom of Albia. The highest authority in the Church of Albia is the Supreme Governor of the Church, a position held by the reigning monarch. Membership is voluntary.

History

The Church of Albia is the oldest religious institution in the Kingdom of Albia and was founded on 12 June 2022 by Luke I of Albia.

The Church has an episcopal policy.

Governance

The church is managed by the General Synod. The Synod is chaired by the Supreme Governor of the Church but this duty is typically left to the Cardinal of Albia. The office of Supreme Governor is one held by the Monarch of Albia. The Synod is made up of senior clergymen, typically appointed to the body by the Supreme Governor.
